Yes I used the 50th grill because it doesn't have the fangs. I got mine from ebay for $85 shipped. I looked into using an ecoboost grill but the depth of the surround piece wasn't enough. If I went that route I think the light bezels would stick out too much.
I actually mounted everything together using automotive goop. It's a very strong waterproof bonding adhesive that works really well and it keeps everything clean so you don't have any mounting hardware.
Sounds good! Lemme know what you decide. Mine are 5.5" across. If you go bigger you'll have to move the lights more toward the center of the grill because it widens out.
Yes I will be able to. I still need to buy the fog lights and harness but I just haven't been able to find some cheap enough used ones. Once I get them I will wire them up and post pics.
