One more here with no oil usage, almost at 10k miles with two full track days under its belt.
Only problem so far is a broken retainer tab on the passenger door weather stripping. Always excited to get in and go for a ride!
Some good name-stories on this board, again surprised how many AF guys are on here! My dad was a weapons officer on a B52 and after that sat back seat in an F4 in the nat. guard.
I've had a couple iterations of 7 liter small blocks in my '66 mustang, so the name just followed.
I have the same issue with my ATAK as well. Passenger side valve will stick open once in a while and it might take a couple of cycles to get the valve to cycle correctly. I've tried a couple of different things and lubricating the pivot seems to help (as Yetitime mentioned). I suspect the...
Thats good info, thanks!
I had to replace a rear tire two weeks ago because I somehow got a full size, clip-on wheel weight stuck in my tire. It even tore up the belts... would have been handy to have the spare in the trunk.
Question for you guys who have the spare tire; have any of you tried placing the removed wheel (front or rear) into the trunk? Ive been thinking about buying one of these spares, but wondered if it was a viable option if the stock wheels will even fit in the trunk?
Yeah, as I'm typing this...
Yeah, those cracks are no joke. Ive only got one full day on mine at the moment, things to look forward to I guess...
Either way, solid rotors could probably relieve that pain, but they certainly aren't cheap.
Interested in these rotors as well. Question to you guys with lots more track time than me; are you seeing any signs of cracking around the drilled holes in the OEMs?
I figured the biggest plus would be going to a non-drilled rotor if the OEMs were cracking at all in those areas with all the...
You may want to check out the Magnaflow system, I believe its a lot less raspy than other systems out there (someone correct me if Im wrong here).
I have the ATAK on my car and love the tone, but its damn raspy up in the higher RPMs. Im considering adding in a pair of resonators to see if I...
Just received the R-wing from Chris last week, the finish on the part itself is fantastic. Im still waiting to hear back from a lead on dog bones, will post pictures/fitment results once I finally get everything installed.
I agree with Epiphany, talking to Chris you get the sense that he's...
If you end up getting the car, do yourself a favor and get a cheap clothes steamer off of Amazon. It helps loosen up the adhesive so the stripes don't splinter while removing them. Definitely made pulling them off my car easy.
Had a car transported from Tx to Cali using Reliable, cant say enough good things about the experience. The driver was super meticulous when documenting the inventory within the car (manuals, paperwork, etc..) as well as noting all issues when the car was picked up (door dings, loose parts...
Yep, my experience was the same as icormba. Took a couple hours, smaller hands would certainly help! My arms and hands looked like I battled a cat.
I have yet to install the rear hook, doesn't look like there is any way around removing the rear bumper cover in that instance.
I've seen all sorts of threads on here about installing tow hooks, whether it be the ford performance option or the ZL1 addons... Does anyone have any experience pulling their car using the ZL1 hooks yet? Do they hold up okay when pulling a car out of the run off areas?
Just wondering...
Happy to hear you got your R! I was the one who bought the '17 you originally ordered, they ended up replacing the front bumper cover and associated parts. The car went to Thunderhill a couple weeks ago, I could only imagine what it would be like on the Cup2s. Have fun with that thing!
