  1. Need help dealer curbed my rim

If necessary, if they don't provide you with a brand new wheel, you could go to small claims court. If they offered to fix it, I assume they admit responsibility. Good luck.
  2. Need help dealer curbed my rim

I would want a new wheel as well. The guy didn't just touch the wheel, but really scraped it!
  3. Need some ideas and help from the board...

I am the same age as your Dad. DOB 05/02/1943. I had an "A" code 1965 Mustang coupe. A 289 with a 4 bbl. When I bought it, I was unaware of the "K" cars. When a co-worker pulled into the gas station where I worked, I could not initially see the car. I just heard the sound of the solid...
  4. Need some ideas and help from the board...

Great idea you have for your Dad. He will really appreciate it as he was one of a very few that owned "K" cars. I remember when I saw and heard one brand new. What an incredible sound those solid lifters made. Always wanted to own one, but now have a 2017 GT350. He will love it.
  5. 2017 Mustang Gt 350 Bad Valve Spring now Damaged in shipment by Ford update with Pics

Damaged GT350 It is very sad to see the condition of your car. No wonder people don't trust dealerships, and FOMOCO. I would immediately get in touch with an attorney. I help a friend out here in CA with doing a lemon law case with her Ford and it turned out very well for her. Not saying...
  6. Interior Rattle - Dash - Passenger Side?

Rattle in GT350 I had a rattle the other day in my car. Turns out it was the seat belt fastener rattling against the hard plastic just behind the door. I had had a passenger in the car and when they exited, the seat belt did not retract fully.
  7. Any C7 Z06 owners that also own a GT350?

GT350 vs. Z06 I have both a 2015 Z06 and a 2017 GT350 and the GT350 does tramline, sometimes badly, and the Z06 does not tramline at all.
  8. Recall and Immediate Stop Sale on 8,026 GT350 and GT350R Models: Engine Oil Cooler

Mspeedster I'm glad you had good luck in your recall service. When I bought my car, the splitter was improperly installed (missing screws) and the tires over inflated by 10 psi. I guess if a repair/service is something I can do, I enjoy the experience and learn something as well.
  9. ZL1 Addons rock guard install

Yomamma219, It could be dirt, but in my case there was done. I think the ZL-1 holes in the mud flaps are not aligned with the car. I tried and tried with no success. Yes, I got them partially in, but at an angle and they would not seat fully. I gave up on them, even after I tried to enlarge...
  10. Complimentary Oil Filter Wrench?

I received my complimentary oil filter wrench, oil filter, and GT350 supplement. The wrench looks really beefy, but does require a 22mm 6-point socket to be used. Would have been better for me at least, if you only needed a 3/8" drive and no socket but still grateful to Ford for giving us a...
  11. ZL1 Addons rock guard install

The tape used on the ZL 1 rock guards is exactly 1/2" wide, labeled 3M VHB. It seems like really good tape. My problem is that I could not get the plastic "push pins" to seat properly as they went through the guard. I tried several times and maybe it's just me. Also, I think they give so...
  12. Recall and Immediate Stop Sale on 8,026 GT350 and GT350R Models: Engine Oil Cooler

Having done this job myself, albeit, on ramps and crawling on the garage floor, I find it amazing that they did it in one hour. It's not the cooler lines themselves, but putting the belly pan and splitter on that can consume time. Still, you are left waiting for them to correctly finish the...
  13. Recall and Immediate Stop Sale on 8,026 GT350 and GT350R Models: Engine Oil Cooler

Sorry to hear about your poor dealership experience. I did the install myself just to avoid your experience. Having done mine, you cannot replace the oil cooler lines assembly without removing the splitter. The last six screws at the back of the splitter also partially hold the belly pan in...
  14. I installed my oil cooler line assembly

Being concerned about the dealer servicing my car, I decided to do the oil cooler line assembly recall work myself. (My selling dealer couldn't even install the splitter correctly) I bought the assembly from my local dealer, some race ramps from reverse logic, and started the project...
  15. GT350 front mud flaps and stone guards

I would like to get some stone guards for the front of my GT350. There are a few brands available. If any of you have purchased them, please let me know what you think of yours or which brand you think are the best. I would appreciate it. Thank you.
  16. GT350 Oil Cooler Line Assembly

I bought the oil cooler assembly intending to do the replacement myself given little confidence in the Ford dealer service network. You'll see the new part was manufactured in February, 2017. What I question in the "cable" that is taped to the assembly. The cable is even covered in a plastic...
  17. Recall and Immediate Stop Sale on 8,026 GT350 and GT350R Models: Engine Oil Cooler

Engine oil cooler tube assembly I appreciate the picture and the part number of the engine oil cooler assembly you provided. I had thought of replacing the assembly myself as I have no confidence in dealer service. HOWEVER, I called the parts departments of 3 dealerships here in So Cal. and...
