Hey guys,
I recently installed a vinyl tint kit and the reverse light is a little dimmer than I like. I was looking at the backup lights you had, and was interested in the XP80 kit to get that back. However, in shopping I saw this reverse brake light kit. I think it looks awesome, and gives...
Cool man, appreciate the feedback. I think I'm going to stick to my original plan of a few visual mods first then, and see where life takes me in a year to where I might not need to be so silent half of the time.
I appreciate the response man, I saw your post before as well. Seems like there are only 6 people on this entire forum that got them installed, which is interesting, as I thought they would have been more popular, but after adding all of the installation costs it is damn near the price of cat...
If this is what you got, then it looks like it is welded into the part that comes with the headers. Will it work with the stock part as well?

Yea, I saw your post before posting this. I'm not sure if having headers changes things or not as far as placement. Is that S shape right before the resonator part of the stock exhaust system or is that part of the headers?
Hello all,
I'm interested in buying these, however I'm getting a lot of differing information with 2 different shops about installing them. I can't tell if I'm just being told info for the up sale, or if there is a lack of experience with the car/cutout itself.
Purpose: To stay stock quiet as...
Jeepers, how did you get a GTPP for 12k under MSRP? I feel ripped off now, mine was $38k OTD.
I got mine cause my KIA was starting to go and it's been too long since my 04 GTO.
ok, when I was fiddlin with the gauges, they were at 38, with the fronts bouncing between 39-40.
Since my bonus was only 40% of last year, all I can do is tint and black badges and maybe the vinyl tint kit if I don't eat for a week.
Fwtq is 400, compared to the 365 of my GTO on 245mm. Figured it would be at least the same considering 80% efffectiveness. But the tire break in period and temps might be the factor. I should be over 1k by St. Pattys day.
Wow, TR says 500 miles. I guess Dick Parker was right. With more power comes more responsibility. I obviously wont do this in my break in period, but for future tires, I could in essence burn off 500 miles of tire and then be good to go?
