Thanks all for your help, glovebox is finally looking & functioning as it should! :clap2: There was just a little catch on the side that had not been pushed in properly when they replaced it. For those that are getting theirs replaced, make sure when you get it back that it opens as it should...

I believe they just removed the chrome sections above & to the left side of the glovebox & then the glovebox comes out...

Glovebox has been replaced by dealer so now have a straight glovebox!:clap2: But it does seem to open with an almighty crash & bounce once it's fully open, there's no slow let down...is this normal? I've forgotten what the wonky one did!

How did you go with the dealer? My new glovebox has arrived & is being installed next week...

Their solution to aligning mine was to replace the whole thing. Hope you have success :)

Oh no that looks so familiar! The mustang they lent me while mine was having its 3 month check had a perfectly aligned glove box so it definitely should be. The dealer told me that my new glove box wouldn't be here until the end of July & there is apparently a lot of the left hand drive versions...

Latest update, apparently they now say they just have to remove the chrome bit above & on the side...BUT...the part they received is for a left hand drive! so now have to wait for the correct part to come.

I was thinking it would just be an adjustment but apparently not :shrug:

To be fair, they're not trying to make me accept it, they're quite happy to replace it, they've already got the part in for me but I have just found out that they have to remove the entire dash to fit it & that is what scares the crap out of me - fix one problem, create who knows how many more...

It closes ok, haven't had a flat battery in 3 months so hopefully that's not an issue. Thanks!

My Ecoboost has a wonky glovebox, that is, when closed there is a noticeably larger gap at the top on one side than there is on the other. Dealer said they will fix it & ordered a whole new glovebox. Rang today to book it in & they tell me they have to pull the whole dash apart to replace...

Hi Greg I'm thinking I should purchase this boot liner, but have been warned about trouble with evil smelling rubber mats (just in general, not specifically about this boot liner)...just wondered if you have had any problems with this mat in that regard? Thank you!
