  1. Solo Performance GT exhaust systems review - updated with photos/videos

You'll be fine. Cold start its a little loud but not really too bad. The Thunder can be quiet by taking it easy. This system wakes up and the volume turns up at around 2500 RPMs. I think you'll be happy.
  2. Solo Performance GT exhaust systems review - updated with photos/videos

Guess I'll update too... Started with an Axle Back. Sounded great but wanted more volume. Next added a reso delete using H-Pipe. Kind of a street Race. That was really loud with some rasp. Next added Mach Thunder muffler and 3" pipe all the way. It's essentially a franken-solo. Sounds...
  3. Guard Green with stripes

I haven't yet, all my free time has been spent tweaking my exhaust. I'll try to PM you when I get em done.
  4. Solo Performance GT exhaust systems review - updated with photos/videos

Aluminized Steel MRT H pipe from CJPony. Solo said somewhere in this thread that with the research they did found the X pipe sounded better. I kind of wish I went with an X Pipe. My reason for the H was I was hoping for a deeper tone but I think when it's as loud as it was you lose that deep...
  5. Solo Performance GT exhaust systems review - updated with photos/videos

There's is absolutely zero drone. I'll let you know. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go back to the h pipe.
  6. Solo Performance GT exhaust systems review - updated with photos/videos

You know it's probably because I had the H pipe in place before the thunder. I just came back from a cruise and it seemed a little louder today than yesterday. I do have to say it's got a beautiful tone to it...
  7. Solo Performance GT exhaust systems review - updated with photos/videos

Most likely yes...I'm going to give it a week to make sure. I'll let you know.
  8. Solo Performance GT exhaust systems review - updated with photos/videos

So I have had the Axle Back, the AB straight piped with an H Pipe in there, and currently have a AB with the Mach Thunder muffler in there now. I replaced all the piping with 3 inch to match the Solo Mach Thunder Cat Back as closely as possible. First I do have to say that Solo's Customer...
  9. Guard Green with stripes

I have a guard GT. I have supersnake stripes in silver from Big Worm sitting in my trunk. I'm eventually gonna get em on there. I'm being realistic about it....if it looks good they stay, if not I'm peeling em off.
  10. How to get my GT to sound similar to a GT350?

Try this...lots of people commented in this thread it sounds like a GT350 http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14580
  11. My $250 total exhaust system

Wow that sounds sick...I really like it!
  12. Solo Performance GT exhaust systems review - updated with photos/videos

Right...that's what I meant. I'm aware it replaces the resonator.
  13. Solo Performance GT exhaust systems review - updated with photos/videos

This is all I could find... http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showpost.php?p=912776&postcount=27 Anyways the modularity is a major part of why I went with this system. I wanted to see if the Axle back offered what I wanted, at first it did but now want more volume. I understand it's not a...
  14. Solo Performance GT exhaust systems review - updated with photos/videos

Why can't you use pipe adapters to make it fit. I would think any decent muffler shop can cut that into where the resonator is. Now whether or not they will sell it muffler is another story.
  15. Solo Performance GT exhaust systems review - updated with photos/videos

Same as me... I too have the Axle back Solo. When I 1st got it 2 months ago I loved it. I actually still do but want a little more volume. I contacted Solo and they suggested to either buy a Catback or just remove the resonator. They said replacing the reso with another high flow reso or...
  16. Question about straight pipes....

So I got a Solo Axle Back on my 2015 GT. Sounds great but looking for a little more volume. Suggestion was made by Solo to either go Cat Back System or resonator delete. Money is an object for me so I'm thinking a resonator delete is the way to go. Two questions though.... 1) Is straight...
  17. Slightly louder exhaust without spending a fortune?

You can remove the resonator and replace with H or X pipe. That will make it slightly louder and deeper. I suggest doing a Solo Axle back and leaving the Reso in place. Cost is about $450 and will give you a deep tone and no drone. Wont wake the neighbors and the police wont take notice either.
  18. Graphics Shop in MA or RI

There's a very good sign/graphics shop in plqinville mass that will install the big worm kit for about $100. Im ordering today and will update when installed. http://www.jmassesign.com
