I sort of assumed the auto model key would work for the manual, just that the remote start button would do nothing. The automatic keys were only $35 on eBay, whereas the keys for the manual model are hard to find and seem to be around $100. I might buy a manual model key to try that.

Yeah but when I bring my car in for an oil change they're not going to check the ecu, they'll notice other mods. I'll have to talk to the service manager at my local dealer. I don't really think they'll tell me much though.

I want to put a catch can on my EB, but I would want to take it off before I bring it into Ford for maintenance. Looking at dyno graphs from before and after just a tune, the numbers are impressive. Is a lot of the gain from added boost? How much boost are tuners pushing on the stock turbo?

I considered a Focus ST but ruled it out because I didn't want a FWD car. This certainly changes things. There are a lot more options at that price point though. I think the ecoboost mustang is probably a better deal unless you're dead set on a hot hatch.
