I'm sure you don't have a vacuum leak but have a bad tune. It will cost you money but get a Lund tune.

You might call SCT support. They can be pretty helpful.

Maybe you should fly out and have a look at one.

When mine was doing it I thought the throttle pedal was actually staying down (not coming back to an idle position). It stopped doing it with a proper tune.

PC doesn't seem to look at datalogs. They just seem to make tune changes and send them out. But do your part and keep sending them. I'm originally from SoCal and I'm sure you can find someone to tune your car locally.

Several of us have torn our builds apart looking for leaks and have found none. I finally went to Lund and his base tune eliminated the hanging throttle. For my car the issue was more pronounced when the engine was good and warm. You'll need to puts some miles on to do a good test. Good Luck

You seem to have the same problem that several of us have had. PC has not been able to fix this as of yet. I wouldn't spend a bunch of time looking for vacuum leaks. Its a tune issue.

Bartly I wonder if the lemon law applies here? I'm sure your car has been down over a month now. I would think PC would be sending a tuner out to Reno to get your car back on the road. I don't think they're taking your tune seriously.

I got a Lund Tune and all is well. It was a tune issue not a vacuum leak or stuck throttle plate.

It sounds like the throttle plate may not be closing all of the way. When I was working with PC I tried to tell them this but they didn't want to listen. When I released the gas pedal it seemed to stay put and not roll back.

I have headers as well. Their tune didn't work for me either. Mine ran rich and I had a hanging throttle. They told me they couldn't help me and I'd need to have a tune created just for my car. I used Lund. The first tune they sent me eliminated the rich issue and the hanging throttle...

It will be interesting to see what has caused the issue. And I guess they don't need no stinking datalogs to get it fixed...

Bartly, Did PC ever get you a tune to correct the high idle? It seems that you had to do a smog check this month?? I would think they would be jumping all over this for you.

I don't remember seeing any instructions on how to adjust this. It seems that there is a sticker on the device that says not to mess with it??
