Trading? Dealers always look at auction value, and I doubt if it's a dealer that's not GT350 savvy (99% aren't) you'd be about equal on trade regardless of seats. Both color's are good IMO. I'd just get whatever I liked best and go for it! ;)
I'm thinking Orange Fury is so high because it's a one year color for the R and very unique. But I'd hate to be a dealer ordering one thinking it's going to be easy to sell. They'd have to have just the right buyer for it IMO.
I saw a 2016 competition orange (non-R) in person, and I...
Everyone has their color, but as the polls show, you can't go wrong with White or Blue. No way I'd ever order Orange or Yellow unless I was personally in love with the color and didn't care about re-sale.
I did better than $7K and everyone I know also did, I give you credit for not just jumping in on a deal because it's there.
You could buy one at $7K over right now on an in-stock unit!! And your trade would be worth much more at this moment then in the year it's going to take to get your...
What's the point of posting this is 96Cobra's thread? I heard 2000 R's, but that was argued up and down to death. Nobody knows but I hope other long term forum members can also get one at a good price.
Funny, the wealthiest guys I know are absolutely the cheapest guys I know when making deals. I've seen it many, many times. I have another hobby where some rich guys buy/sell, and every single one of them would cut your throat for $100 to the point of riduculousness. We've (the guys without...
This is awesome!! I hate that I have to run my cord around the windshield and down.. This is the way I used to wire my Valentine 1.
Got a couple of questions.. what connector is that that goes into your dashcam, mini-usb? Also, where did you get the cord? And does your camera...
You can come see mine if you're local, open the doors, sit in it, start her up, it's all good brother. But it's not for sale. Unless you have swamp butt, then no sitting in it.
A dealer who is suspicious that their car may not be sold sees a current GT350 owner who is savvy enough to know...
I'm almost sick of all the price threads on R's. They're up, they're down, etc., etc. Market is different everywhere, if you search you can find a deal (possibly), R owners want the prices to stay on the high end, non-R owners want the prices to drop.
There ya go! :clap2:
Don't forget the R owners that bought their R's at MSRP... seems to be a lot of them on here. Those guys are all much more savvy than everyone else that had to pay over! :)
I'm going to speak from experience here- call, call, call. And scope out the ones that have been sitting on the floor locally and wait 4-5 weeks then start putting feelers on a more realistic price. When they first arrive, they are expecting the world on the price. After they realize no one...
Wow!! Imagine if they happened to grab the GT500 prototype and get away with it.. that would be too crazy though.
Seems as though they got away, hopefully that wasn't someone's special order R that they've been waiting a year for!
My neighbor kid (probably about 10 or so) told me "your car is really loud!". My reply back was "it's a Shelby!". His eyes got big, and he turned around and ran inside like he couldn't wait to tell his parents. Made me chuckle.
