I'm assuming my answer is to not floor it right off the bat. Ease more in first. I can just see the car spinning and redlining though the second I do go wot. If it would just shift right before/beginning of redline I'd feel a lot more confident in letting it rip.

Good info. Maybe I need to go give it another try, but yesterday I had it in S and took off and it shot up to redline and wouldn't shift. I had to let off the gas a little because I didn't want to blow it up. Could that have been because the tires were spinning? Or possibly the tune is set...

I'm curious about this as well. I haven't been to the track yet, but if I floor it in 1st it will just spin and spin to redline until I let off the gas a little. It then spins some in 2nd too, but figuring out the best way to handle 1st gear and the initial launch is what I'm stuck on...

Okay guess I'll just have to play with it more. Sounds like you almost need to hit the paddle right when you floor it in first. I'm also having a terrible time hooking up in first and somewhat second too. Man this things quick if I can figure out how to drive it.

And I've only had the car a few days so haven't had a chance to mess with the paddles much. But is there a decent delay from the time you press it until it shifts? I've tried using the paddles in S once or twice, but the thing is basically wanting to redline immediately and it doesn't shift...

I'm 99% sure mine has upshifted itself while in S if I don't get on it alot.

Subscribing for later. Got my GT a few days ago with Gibson already on there and while I like the sound especially WOT, it does drone it's ass off in a couple of spots. Might give this a try soon. Thanks

Yep finding out it had the exhaust was perfect. During the time it was being shipped that's the mod I was researching but it can be crossed off the list now. The exhaust is pretty loud and deep which is great, but it does drone pretty bad in a couple of spots. Maybe I can get an audio clip...

Couldn't really sleep last night. Bought the car a week ago but it had to be shipped from San Diego to KC. Only 2,000 miles. Going to get the windows tinted as soon as it gets here. Only have pics from the dealer but will get some new in person pics with the window tint this afternoon.
