  1. [poll] Auto or Manual next gen?

One thing that sticks in a driver's mind is; coming off the main straight and pressing hard on the brakes and not slowing down while diving into the first corner. After only one lap of that, you'll have a newfound respect for not putting excess heat into your brakes, It's so ingrained in me now...
  2. HRE & the 2015 Mustang: 6G Test-Fitting

Tru dat, however all you were talking about was quality, quality, quality. So my response was to your quality statement. They top out the RPF1's at 19in though, the 19x9.5 +42 are 20.15lbs. (and $494 each) My statement was only in response to what you said, not in response to something you...
  3. [poll] Auto or Manual next gen?

Agreed, but most automatic's won't hold first till red line. In my manual I can keep it in first and just get on and off the gas. My transmission never gets into 2nd. So when traffic ahead of me randomly gives it gas, then hits their brakes and slows down, I can speed up with them and just let...
  4. HRE & the 2015 Mustang: 6G Test-Fitting

My $200 10lb wheels are enkei's. They're still good 5 years later.
  5. [poll] Auto or Manual next gen?

I find manual vastly superior to automatic in stop and go gridlock. I can control my speed much more accurately and can crawl at a slower speed, while being able to instantly accelerate and decelerate without touching the brake pedal. Every time I'm in an automatic, when I'm in traffic, I feel...
  6. HRE & the 2015 Mustang: 6G Test-Fitting

I agree. In my ideal world, I'd like to spend $400-500/each ($1,600-$2,000/set) for some 20x10.5 +45 that are aprx. 24lbs and I don't care what they look like. The last set of wheels I bought were 15x7 +35 that weighted 9.85lbs and cost $200/wheel, $800 for a set, so maybe I'm having a culture...
  7. It comes with it's own funnel

Yea, If you only want a little boost, I guess you could use that.... I go through a whole big bottle of NOS in my tank every week, that way when I floor it I can yell "DID YOU FEEL THE NOS KICK IN?!" :D Caution, like it says on the bottle, It's powerful, don't blame me if it fucks up your...
  8. Select-able Cam Timing part of the performance pack?

I think I love you, and I'm a straight male. If you have a daughter or don't have a wife anymore, let me know. I don't really care much what anyone other than myself thinks of my vehicle. On the other hand I do find it beneficial when 'johnny law' thinks my car doesn't deserve another...

  11. HRE & the 2015 Mustang: 6G Test-Fitting

http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_interlagos.php TSW claims their 20x10.5 Interlagos are 26.45LBS, that's 0.35lbs less than the FF01's, but less is less. Where did you find them for $300 each in size 20x10.5? Best I could find was $352 each in that size. One could get a $300 18in wheel, but...
  12. Barrett-Jackson/FOXSports.com caught up with Steven Ling

It's 435hp and 3705lbs vs 310hp and 3532lbs, both are under $50k. The I4T is 11.39lbs/1HP; The V8 is 8.52lbs/1HP. Each horse has more room to run with the V8. (It's a 173lbs more, with 125HP more pushing it)
  13. HRE & the 2015 Mustang: 6G Test-Fitting

So the 20x10.5 FF01's are are 0.6lbs lighter than the 20x9.5 FF01's?
  14. How tall?

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php/2015-mustang-wheel-1133.html then find a wheel/tire calculator online. the smallest '15 mustang tires are exactly 27.0in tall, the tallest tires fitted to any '15 mustang are 27.7in tall. Think about the footprint where the tire meets...
  15. HRE & the 2015 Mustang: 6G Test-Fitting

I'd vote for: 2) 19x9.5 front and 19x10 rear: Same thing with the OEM tires AND could make for a good Square option with the 19x10. I would go with the 19x10 square option myself, if I could find good tires in a good size. The selection of 19in. tires in a wide square set up size is pitiful...
  16. Turning Radius

Yea, you're right. I guess line lock will just be totally useless to me. I'm better off giving it some good rev's and dropping the clutch quick while adding a small weight transfer via the steering then increasing the throttle to promote rotation. 0 toe on all 4 corners will assist as well.
  17. HRE & the 2015 Mustang: 6G Test-Fitting

What was the reason behind the 275/35-20 front tire width?
  18. Turning Radius

Finally I'll have a use for line lock...need to flip a U-turn on a 30ft wide road? line lock.

You're going to laugh when you find out where they've been hiding this info....http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php/2015-mustang-wheel-1133.html Right on the front page of the STICKY at the top of the "Wheels & Tires" titled "2015 Mustang Wheels and Tire sizes" Not only is it...
