  1. Can you make my Mustang ride like a BMW 6 series?

Interesting idea, I have pursued the same goal for some time now. I used to have the pro-kit and koni yellow. My finding is, you can surely make it more compliant with different springs/strut and maybe the rear shock mount. And you will feel the difference in the first week after you have done...
  2. Spacers causing rock chips

Can any of you share your wheel spec and effective offset after spacer? Just try to see how much the wheel/tire need to poke out for this to happen.
  3. BMR CB006 brace to help steering stability

I would assume so too. It's an OEM part after all, therefore the NVH was still a large engineering factor even if it's a more performance oriented part.
  4. BMR CB006 brace to help steering stability

I just installed the CB006 last week and can report it does have a very positive impact on the front stability. Driving over the same bumpy road at the same speed, the front end has less horizontal movements. I am also looking into replacing the front control arms and $120 sounds much...
  5. Is it necessary to drop rear subframe for springs?

My local Firestone wouldn't do lifetime alignment package for cars with suspension mod, like lowering springs.
  6. NorCal FS: Eibach Pro-Kit springs

    BUMP. Price drop to $130.
  7. Motor Mounts and possible issues moving forward..

What's Ford's rationale for placing the engine so high?
  8. Shave 85lbs off your S550, decrease ETs and increase MPH!

I would assume that such large reduction in rotating weight can even be felt in normal driving.
  9. Bilstein HD6

I know it has not been installed yet, but I am still curious. On paper how does it compare to existing offerings like Koni and Steeda?
  10. Let's see your Eibach Pro-Kit Stance

Based on the drop, it's pretty much the same as most others with about 1" at 4 corners. You won't tell the 0.1" difference.
  11. Spring install question

Front is harder, you need a spring compressor. The rear is really straightforward once you drop the subframe (not both sides at the same time).
  12. Stainless steel clutch line installation guide?

Wow, Thanks! Mine is the SR line, bought almost 1 year ago and just lying there collecting dust. I figured they are pretty much the same so why not just get the cheapest one. I didn't have any issues now with stock one, but hope that maybe the SS line can make the clutch lighter, especially...
  13. Stainless steel clutch line installation guide?

I have bought a SS clutch line to replace the stock one but cannot find a reliable installation guide for our S550. Also I am not sure if I need to buy some clutch fluid when some of the stock fluid will be spilled during the installation. Thanks for any guidance. :)
  14. NorCal FS: Eibach Pro-Kit springs

Thanks for your interest. At this time I am looking for a local buyer who can pay cash.
  15. NorCal FS: Eibach Pro-Kit springs

I had run these springs with koni yellow for about 10k miles, nice even drop at 4 quarters and very flat at corners. I recently decided to change them to softer springs as I don't really have the opportunity to drive hard. The springs come with 4 bumpstops and front bump covers. Springs are in...
  16. Do we need to replace bolts after shock/strut install?

I also only replaced the 4 big bolts for the structs during the most recent spring swap. However, my new bolts do not have the thread which prevent rotation in the knuckle. Other than that, the size is exact the same as the old ones. Any need for concern?
  17. Brake Pad Upgrade for non PP GT

The base 4 pot brakes have no problem locking up my 275 square summer tires during emergency brake, and do not show any fade for occasional canyon runs. I don't see the point of upgrading unless you race.
  18. 2010 owners feelings when 2011 came out repeat?

2018 needs to have 600hp to feel like same kinda of leap as from 2010 to 2011.
  19. Hertz So Good!!!

If you bring this to your birthday party, everyone knows you rented the car. It says Hertz on the side. Rent a mustang so you don't have to drive your own mustang at home? Where is the logic?
