Interesting idea, I have pursued the same goal for some time now. I used to have the pro-kit and koni yellow.
My finding is, you can surely make it more compliant with different springs/strut and maybe the rear shock mount. And you will feel the difference in the first week after you have done...
I would assume so too. It's an OEM part after all, therefore the NVH was still a large engineering factor even if it's a more performance oriented part.
I just installed the CB006 last week and can report it does have a very positive impact on the front stability. Driving over the same bumpy road at the same speed, the front end has less horizontal movements.
I am also looking into replacing the front control arms and $120 sounds much...
Wow, Thanks!
Mine is the SR line, bought almost 1 year ago and just lying there collecting dust. I figured they are pretty much the same so why not just get the cheapest one.
I didn't have any issues now with stock one, but hope that maybe the SS line can make the clutch lighter, especially...
I have bought a SS clutch line to replace the stock one but cannot find a reliable installation guide for our S550. Also I am not sure if I need to buy some clutch fluid when some of the stock fluid will be spilled during the installation.
Thanks for any guidance. :)
I had run these springs with koni yellow for about 10k miles, nice even drop at 4 quarters and very flat at corners. I recently decided to change them to softer springs as I don't really have the opportunity to drive hard.
The springs come with 4 bumpstops and front bump covers. Springs are in...
I also only replaced the 4 big bolts for the structs during the most recent spring swap. However, my new bolts do not have the thread which prevent rotation in the knuckle. Other than that, the size is exact the same as the old ones. Any need for concern?
The base 4 pot brakes have no problem locking up my 275 square summer tires during emergency brake, and do not show any fade for occasional canyon runs. I don't see the point of upgrading unless you race.
If you bring this to your birthday party, everyone knows you rented the car. It says Hertz on the side.
Rent a mustang so you don't have to drive your own mustang at home?
Where is the logic?
