Ordered a Steeda front sway bar and their rear vertical links. And wasted some money on a good deal on a Roush intake, just for the look. Waiting for Friday for an nGauge and Lund flex fuel tune.
Grabbed the wife, went to dinner, and then she suggested we go see Ford vs. Ferrari.
After the movie, I just HAD to drive it home in Track mode. :) Good movie!
Got it up on the QuickJack, and changed the oil for the first time. Also adjusted the exhaust and sway bar end links in case that was the cause of my odd rattle/clunking. Test drove to local autozone to dump the used oil. Clunk/rattle persists. Grrr.
on the plus side, the little 240v...
You wonāt be unhappy. Iāve had a few Mustangs over the years and tried to get by in winter with whatever came on them from the factory. Driving in snow was miserable.
when I decided to ditch the SUV now that my kids are grown and go back to a Mustang, I promised myself that winter snow...
Iām 55, and grew up on manuals. Owned various manual mustangs through the years. Loved āem. But these days, with a bum left knee and scheduled for right shoulder surgery next month, Iām damn glad Ford has made the 10 speed auto so good. Love it, and Iāll never go back to a manual.
How cold is it there? I'm in Michigan, we get some pretty cold weather at times and I'm close to pulling the trigger on a Lund flex fuel tune. I want to make sure I don't go out to start my Mustang when it's zero degrees outside and find it just can't start.
Cool, thanks! For an automatic like I have, I assume you use the paddle shifters to do the 7000rpm pull. Anyone know what gear(s) they want for that datalogging pull?
Thanks - I knew the tune wouldn't be specific to tires. I was just concerned that I wouldn't be able to really test it out very well on the winter tires, especially if I need to do some data logging or whatnot with WOT within the 3 month window of purchase.
My engine is mostly stock, though...
I've been strongly considering picking up an nGauge with the Lund Flex Fuel tune for my 2019 GT, since there'll be some deals on them soon with Black Friday coming.
Of course, this is right after winter hit early here in Michigan, and I've put on my skinnier Blizzak tires.
Is this a terrible...
Got to test out the winter wheels and Blizzak tires. Drove pretty darn well!
First pic is early morning. Second pic was mid day, when we were up to about 7ā on the roads.
thanks! Just put that flooring in a couple weeks ago. Itās RaceDeck freeflow tiles. They just snap together.
Been working on improving my garage, that was part of it. Worked today on installing a garage heater.
My 2019 GT Premium (non-PP) has developed a front passenger side clunking sound. It seems to happen when going over small bumps, and is really only noticeable at low speeds (under 30mph). Doesn't occur when turning the wheel, just going straight over small bumps gives a bit of a hollow clunk...
