Yes, they have front ones - I’ll probably do those in the spring. They are a bit more involved to change. The rear one is way beefier than the stock one, especially since I don’t have the performance pack. Ran around $200. I didn’t notice any difference in straight line driving (which you...
Steeda rear sway bar, end links, and a Borla S-type exhaust with their resonated h-pipe. All went easily! Though the wife came out and said the garage looked like my car had exploded...
Exhaust sounds great now, similar to the bare h-pipe but much quieter at the Quiet and Normal active...
Running out of good weather days here in Michigan, and Thursday/Friday look to be nice. So I put in for vacation so I can get my Steeda rear sway bar and endlinks installed, and my Borla s-type exhaust mounted.
I went with the closeout WS80's on my package. The price was hard to beat, and the WS80's had excellent reviews. I'm sure the WS90's have some possible advantage, but given the reviews of the WS80's I'm not too concerned.
LM32's are another recommended option (and more of a "sport" winter...
My poor Mustang is being neglected today, while I did some work on the wife’s car. She wanted her Edge ST wheels blacked out, so I plastidip’d them and threw on a couple coats of glossifier. And hit her chrome Edge emblem with some plum crazy plastidip.
(Sorry for the non-Mustang content)
Thanks, sounds good to me - I've ordered that same setup, should have it by next week. I love the sound of the stock exhaust with the H-pipe, but it's just a bit too loud for my daily driver use. Excited to get it installed!
Did you install this setup? If so, how do you like it?
I put a Steeda H-pipe on my stock active exhaust, and while I love the tone, it's a bit loud for my wife/neighbors. I've loved the s-type sound in the past, I'm considering this exact setup.
It wasn't that bad. For my Mustang (brand new), the paint was in fantastic shape. It didn't ship via rail, and felt so slick I didn't even feel the need to clay bar it. I washed it thoroughly twice, dried it. Then I wiped it down completely with gtechniq's Panel Wipe (which they recommend...
I did mine myself. Previous experience was just washing/waxing/clay bar work, though I had put on sealers like Opti-Seal before (very forgiving).
On my new Mustang, I decided to try a more complex ceramic coating and got Crystal Serum Light. I had almost no issues, though I did end up...
I've owned Mustangs in the past, but never bothered with snow tires - and it sucked driving them in Michigan winters.
This time around, I ponied up (ha!) for a extra set of wheels with Blizzak snow tires. Hopefully these will make a difference!
Installed my Ford Performance oil air separator /catch can. Easy install.
Brace in place. The upper stud replaces a bolt. Lower one is already there. Already have the hose off, and note the oil present on the ends.
Catch can in place. There’s a slot on the can that the bracket end fits...
I just replaced my 2019 single-note horn with a dual note. There's some videos on YouTube that others have done. I actually found it a little challenging, only because I could only get one of my fat mitts down there at a time. It was easy to get the horn out, but harder to get the new one...
I've watched some videos, but now I'm looking for some feedback. How hard is it for a garage mechanic to get that front sway bar out, and get a new one in? I do have a QuickJack lift, but not something that'll get the car more than a couple of feet off the ground.
I'm seriously considering...
Installed some gloss black Air Design hood louvers (sold by Ford). Easy install.
Also swapped out the joke single note horn for the dual note version. This was actually a real pain in the butt, trying to get the bolt back in place. Much better sound now. Now instead of the horn...
Just got around to installing mine yesterday. Installed that h-pipe a couple weeks back.
Jacking rails, stop-the-hop, hood struts, pedals, h-pipe, wheel spacers all from Steeda - this is turning right into a Steeda build! Too bad I ordered all these parts a while back, missed out on the...
