I was really hoping they would have added the coolers but left the magnaride off the car for the base. Oh well. Anyone know if the magnaride can be disconnected and not have it interfere with the cars working?
Random question. If buying a Mustang stricly for the purpose of going to STP or CAM-C, would a non track pack car make more sense because of the gearing difference?
There is no link, because I was at the shop hanging out.
And nope, no picture. Mike said no.
Like Donny said, call Mike at the shop. These are a brand new item. There is only one set in existence, and those are on Chris Cox' car.
Chris's car has the super wiz bang JRi double adjustable strut and caster/camber plates from Mike Maier Inc. They have been working on the design all last season. Mike went public with the shock for the first time at SEMA last year and Chris is doing all the testing. From the sounds of it...
Salinas wants 103,000 for theirs. Some of the ones that im finding online appear to be going for msrp, but they had add ons like the tech or track package. Las Vegas Ford has a base model, but they want 80k+
Thanks guys, appreciate the offers. I'm still trying to find a car without a exorbitant ADM. I know its a long shot. I want either a base or track pack car (but leaning towards base) Deep Impact Blue without stripes.
Looking for a gt350. I'm a tinkerer. I like to turn knobs on shock and make the car do what I want it to do.
Question is, I want the track package because of the engine oil, trans and diff coolers, but I don't want the magnetic ride shocks, I want aftermarket coilovers. Has anyone...
So what your saying is diameter has nothing to do with acceleration. That's like saying a car with 4.10's with lighter weight wheels will accelerate as fast as a car with 4.56's with heavy wheels.
And the performance advantage is more from the tire compound and height more than it is the weight. A short, grippy light weight tire will out accelerate/decelerate a taller, less grippy heavy tire. To get the performance advantage of the carbon wheels and the carbon wheels alone tires would...
There are always going to be trade offs, but in this specific instance where he wants to compete in a class that limits wheel size and tire tread wear to 200, the RE-71R is by far the superior tire. Now for track days or in other instances there might be a better tire.
I run my 2004 Z06 in...
Being in SCCA you can go +/- 1" in wheel diameter but not width have you considered going to an 18" wheel and running the Rival S?
And, if your dead set on staying with 19's I'd look into running the 285 Bridgestone re71r. They are leaps and bounds faster than the RE-11/RE-11A as well as the...
