You would think that they would have tested that wire a little more knowing over time of opening and closing the trunk it would weaken it and reinforce it better.
Welcome to the club! Wow that engine looks like you could eat off of it it's so clean. My first was a '16 GT then eventually on to my current '22 and I love it.
I'm in western Washington state. My GT came without the front holes but came with a plate bracket kit to put on. Local cops, sheriffs or highway patrol don't seem to be too concerned with it or even the recently illegal clear or tinted plate covers. I've been going frontless for a few years now...
Slightly off topic but I noticed we both have the same model year, similar 3 year warranty expiration time frame (November this year for me) and similar in mileage, I'm at 4,000. So yes, we need to get out more! 😂
After I bought my '22 I swapped out the factory tires and rims with the Yokohama ADVAN Sport A/S+ 265/35 R20 99Y XL from Discount Tire for the rain and occasional snow we get here in western Washington. Love 'em!
A real di*k move is after you find a nice isolated spot and then walking back to your car is the guy (or gal) who out of ALL the empty ones in the lot parks right next to yours! Usually a big ass truck or something 😂.
