I get that but what damages did this man have? Was he psychologically hurt in some way? Was their some high degree of mental aguish here that can only be cured with money?
I think this is just a bunch of nonsense as others here agree. No one is dumb enough to pay 100 grand for a Mustang that stickers less than 60. You'd have to be equally as dumb to believe that they are actually selling for that. Some guys have gotten them for sticker and someone else pays 40 or...
They certainly do not have to transport the car back to Detroit to fix a dent. Like others here have said, the dealer can fix it and sell it to another buyer. Pretty simple stuff.
The entire scenario here is ridiculous. You will likely not see the car until next summer. Tell the dealer to shove the $4,000 over sticker up his rear end find another dealer next spring to order you a '17.
I'm sure that these guys do a fine job at what they do. No one is questioning the expertise of our UAW brothers here. Simply making the point that the "hand built" thing is not necessarily better than a primarily robotic engine assembly process. Robotics eliminates the human error factor. A...
I'm with you, they can have fun looking at that one. Hopefully no one is stupid enough to pay anywhere near that # or anything over full sticker as it is like throwing your money out into the street. I am simply amazed by some of the posts in this thread suggesting that 2 or 3 grand over sticker...
And so it shall be my friend. I've been around this stuff and through this scenario more times and more years than I care to admit. The result is ALWAYS the same. Dealers ask an over sticker price, some pay it, most don't. The bubble bursts as the supply approximates the pool of capable buyers...
These cars very cool but quite expensive for a Mustang and have a small audience of willing and capable buyers. Deliveries have not yet caught up to the current pool of those buyers but the equilibrium point will be reached far sooner than some rabid enthusiasts believe. It is difficult to deal...
The engine assemblers names on the motor are a nice marketing touch but don't confuse these line workers with top flight engine builders. These motors are mass produced copies of one another built by hand rather than a robotic protocol due to the numbers that are needed. This is dropping a...
Exactly, give the guy who won the green jacket last year at Augusta your grandfathers golf clubs from the 1950s and he'll clean your clock on any course you choose with them. Always amazes me how guys who can't drive for sheet scramble to throw $500 on a "CAI" when the driver mod would give them...
