Speaking to a mate yesterday, MCA need a car in QLD to help with testing of their kit and finalise specs for production.
Anyone serious about coilovers up north should definitely give them a call and work something out. I'm sure they'll look after you too.
Good advice, no one ever reads that bit. Noticed it on previous policies, they typically put a time limit on the replacement which would barely cover build and shipping without the backlog.
I'm with Famous, <$1100 for $65k agreed and $750 excess, nil for windscreen replacement.
Quoted for truth. Good tyres make the car predictable at the limit, the PZEROgrip's are like on/off switches. They're shitful!
Mine will be worn away sooner than than later and replaced with something decent. Was hoping AD08R's but I don't think they're making them with a high enough load rating.
Mr MM also ended up wiping the car out hehe. That said, I've run Shockworks coilovers in my 86 for about 3 years and done some pretty decent track times.
The mustang definitely needs some attention on the suspension front. I find it very floaty (is a ford after all) but then over some bumps...
Weather makes no difference to me, pretty sure the only day its been dry was when I picked up the car....
Can do 1PM somewhere east, otherwise I'll have to make the next one.
Oh I'm not using it, would miss out on a laugh.
Back on topic, would someone hurry up and fit an ATAK to their GT in Melbourne. I need to hear that and the Xtreme side by side so I can get an order in!
They did respond saying very busy week. So I took a punt with the order Wednesday night, shipped yesterday and arrived this morning.
They chucked in a decent bonus, I assume for the miscommunication. Didn't ask for it, and they definitely didn't have to but happy customer in the end.
How the hell do you get over spray there? Any why paint the under carriage that late in the piece?
Anyway will be giving the car a wash and sticking it on the hoist this weekend to go over everything much closer and document to Ford.
Nope I had to point them all out, they only pointed out a scratch on the front bar which would have been done by the PD monkey.
What is more amazing is I found hidden under the drivers sun visor the carbon copy "Ford Trading Company LLC Vehicle Exemptions Worksheet" which just happens to be...
