OK, after about 9 months, I now have 940 miles on 2017 R HR271. I have a n opportunity to drive the car about 100 miles today, so I can go over 1000.
To date, bought the car with 32 miles, 9 months ago. Drove it the 150 miles home, varying engine speed a lot, up shifting and down shifting on...

Luckily my wife is very accepting of my issues! It helped though when I sold several cars, and then sold the key spare parts for several tidy sums.....which I had promised her YEARS ago would be the case. But, at 62, this line of collecting has its time limits!! Insert sideways crazy face!
6S2166 was a really fun car. Original 289 removed, converted into a race car maybe 30 years ago. 302 R block, stroked to 345, Canfield heads, 490 RWHP. Scary fast and at 62, I had stopped driving it for its primary purpose, so it left my garage after 21 years.
