This thread started with someone stating that 2022 GT500's would not be based off of allocations but rather an approval/denial on fords part. My dealer told me that is not true and im asking if anyone else has been told otherwise from their dealer.
I spoke to the general manager of my local dealer today regarding this possible 2022 GT500 allocation change and he called their rep, this was his reply.
“I did speak to my rep and he says as far as he knows right now there's nothing like that happening doesn't mean that it could happen you...
Nice. Flemington is a top notch auto group, and one of the only no mark up dealers in NJ. I did a video about them on my youtube channel. I was there this morning inquiring about ordering a car and noticed that C8 when I drove past the porsche dealer. This forum is a fantastic resource.
Make sure everything under that hood is stock, including the oil and air filter. Don't give them any reason to deny the claim if it's under warranty. I hope there is no tune on it either.
2nd that. I rarely see 350s/500s on the road. I don't get why Ford is such a prude about building cars people want. Its one thing for stock units that dealers will line up in their showroom and mark up. It's another when a customer signs a contract and commits a down payment.
I've thought about this too. Why does ford do allocations? it is an exclusivity thing? it is parts supply? They have allocations inside allocations. Ford should allow orders to be submitted with a signed contract and approve or deny on a case by case basis to keep specialty vehicles out of the...
if its fair for dealers then it should be fair in all markets and industries. remove all price gouging laws and allow the people with the deepest pockets to set the prices. if your for a free market then you can't pick and choose where it is and isn't ok, allow a total free for all.
And im sure ford has just as complex a franchise agreement.
since ford is trying to be taking seriously against some of the high end compitetion, its time they get serious. porsche doesn't sell their top models to just anyone, you have to be approved(bascally show that you support the brand)...
I would like to see what would happen with the free market argument in other business. If home depot jacked up the prices of snowblowers just before a big snow storm or if best buy jacked up the price of the new playstation a month before christmas and said it a free market and these items are...
I did a video a few weeks ago discussing this and I don't think ford wants to get bogged down with lawsuits from dealers, especially since ford has allowed this to go on for so long and now all the sudden they want to do something. If they do it for certain vehicles it puts them in a tight spot...
I hear you, but ford will never do anything regarding FP vehicles. They will only put in an effort on the vehicle they want to push like lightning's and mach-e's.
The whole allocation system is complete garbage and does nothing for brand loyalists or enthusiasts. It only helps those with the...
