In ’64 the Mustang got about 12-14mpg. It's been 50 years, our cars should be much more efficient by now.
There's more to how much fuel you use than just how much it costs you personally each year. It's personal preference, for sure. For me, it made it easier to place an order for the car I...
I'm not arguing that it necessarily should be on the car, but that it has been on the car. Look earlier in the thread, somebody says that a Ford logo has never appeared on the exterior of a Mustang. It's not true. (Even with the make on the rear end: )
Maybe not "good" gas mileage, but maybe decent gas mileage. For me, the EB model made a Mustang an option for a new car. It's 2014, not 1964; I couldn't justify getting a car that only got gas mileage in the mid-teens.
Yeah. I was just pointing out one of many, many, examples where the Mustang has, in fact, had a Ford logo on it. There's been this myth, that some people like to use to get upset about, that Mustangs have only ever had ponies on them, and it's just not true.
From some of the pictures I'm beginning to regret sticking with the 18" wheels that come in the Premium package. They look slightly too small. I guess I'll be looking at aftermarket wheels at some point.
