I have recently been experiencing a a hard braking feeling when shifting from 3-4 and 4-5. I have tried various methods of shifting, waiting between gears, shifting faster, double clutching and also just going straight from gear to gear.
It only occurs when double clutching and in the upper...

I swear to Gawd if people don't post info about the photo taking or editing process, I'm going to leave this thread..
1. For this photo I tried something a little new. It's comprised of two photos layered together using the "Darken" Blend Mode. I took two photos with the camera on a tripod...
I like Hoya as they have a few medium cost range ones that are nice. I have a 77mm one that cost around $40-50 and I love it the most. My cheaper ones don't give as deep of saturation compared to it but the reflections are cut about the same.
If you get a cheap one for around $15-20 you will...
One simple item. Circular Polarizer. You can get a cheap one or an expensive one, you can get a cheap one if you are just starting out and it will work well enough.
Turning up the brightness a bit could make it a little better because it will lower contrast which makes it appear sharper.
I have found just through using various lenses that if you use around at least 3.5 then you can get most of the car in focus but even if you shoot further away from your...
Unfortunately you cannot have the best of both worlds.. in order to increase your depth of field (increase the area in focus), you have to increase your f-stop. This will cause you to lose some of the bokeh effect. Only other option you may have is focus stacking and that might look a little odd...
Does Swift have springs available for front and rear coilovers? I have BC's and want to upgrade springs eventually. BC offers a Swift upgrade but it doesn't include rear springs as far as I can tell.
Thanks guys! I try to make my contributions worth it.
This was shot with an 85mm at f/2 with around 600-800 ISO.
Haha. Goal achieved. Split Toning can be tricky and it's easy to get carried away with. In the past I was giving photos surreal coloring but nothing really crazy. This shot of...

I've been working to develope a bit of a style lately to make my photos more consistent and also to give them more "feeling". I think I'm getting close to something with this.
I've always been interested in what's called Split Toning. When done...
Yep.. because nobody reads the thread and just decides to post whatever they feel necessary.
I think critiquing is still valuable conversation though, others not involved in the critique can still gain knowledge from it.
Just think of it like a movie, when something wicked and sinister is on screen, sometimes they will tilt the camera to give it more of an unsettling feeling and make it seem like what is being shown is even more evil. I think the same feeling is what Chris was going for.
I personally side...
Diode Dynamics has a bulb that converts the reverse light into a switch back for a third brake light. Check into that so maybe it gives you more options for spoilers.
Since I do photography I went and tested a location for photos and they came out pretty good, here are a few.
