That’s a bummer. Whenever I’ve taken the M1 to the shop for anything, I do a video walk around right before. Kinda like how a rental company does it prior to the delivery of a vehicle.
I would just touch-it up, the time lost dealing with this wouldn’t be worth it IMO.
I agree. From my experience most German supercar owners don't just care for performance, but they like to flex that their cars cost well into th 6 figures. And Porsches have an air about them.
I think most of the GTDs will end up as garage queens, and investments. People don't realize that...
It looks really good. They fixed all of the shortcomings of the S650, from looks to performance. That said, it's a bummer that it's a Mustang for the elites. And it's not even a money thing, but all about connections.
It's damn good package. The ultimate Mustang.
Ford did great with the Raptor R (even with the ridiculous price) and the Bronco Raptor, and dropped the ball horribly with the Dark Horse (R). Perhaps this was the reason why the Dark Horse as whole is just a joke. Kinda makes sense now.
Wow, and here I was thinking this was yet another GT350R purchased as an investment to resell later.
Hope you get it fixed, and start enjoying it with better health.
Nice write-up, and thanks for sharing.
I think I'm in the minority when it comes to S550 shifters, the trouble of installing an aftermarket shifter vs. benefits, just doesn't provide enough ROI for me to do it. I remember doing this for my old 01' GT a few years back, and it was a breeze. Maybe...
Well, dealers will try and see what they can get away with...curious to see how long before they lower the ADM.
Dealers were charging ADMs for the Mach 1s initially, and then inflation hit, so they simmered down. They're charging ADMs for the Dead Horse as well, because it's new and shiny.
The problem now is that because of our political climate all the new cars in a couple years (and even now) will be different than the new cars in the 2010s (electrification, locked ECUs, tougher emission restrictions, integrated online connectivity without opt-out, integrated cameras/mics, etc)...
As much as I love my Mustangs, and I'm not blinded by brand loyalty (we're consumers, we go for the best products...for us). The ZL1 1LE is the better option for the money, and it's not even close. It looks menacing, handles incredible, it has great power, manual option, and it is a special car...
I remember going to a funeral of a co-worker a long time ago. Out of respect for the family. And the eulogies given were of a completely different person. He was not kind, or patient..and the sense of humor was crass. But the family painted a whole different person.
Point being....we tend to...
I'm more curious to find out if the Mexican-sourced MT-82 D4s (22' and later) are more realiable with high-HP output, compared to the Chinese-sourced MT-82s (21' and earlier). Since TREMEC is a Mexican company and all.

That's issue with the screens, they are just......there. And the bezels of the screens are really thick as well. It just screams cheap and lazy.
But I'm sure the Unreal engine graphics make up for it. And the Fox Body gauges. 🙄🤣The gimmicks are just 👌.
Only issue I've had with AM was their inaccurate shipping times. I've order a couple items and said to ship next day, but it's always at least 3 days. Not a fan of that, so they're last on my list.
It's a nice tactile feeling, but it is high maintenance. Worth it IMO, since it also looks nice.
I got the GT350 steering wheel installed, pricey, but again, worth it.
