Appreciate the response. I have had this blower on for less than 1000 miles so I hope it isn't belt wear! I will certainly chick out that quick belt change kit. Thanks again.
Hey all. Getting some belt squeal at around 1800 rpm on my Vortech V3 JT trim. Only at that rpm level. I think my idler pulley may be in need of being tighten. How difficult is it to get to it? Seems like it takes an act of Congress to get anywhere near the pulleys or am I just looking at...
Yeah, E85 is hard to find here in Raleigh. I still got the flex fuel tune just so I could run a mixture of 93 and ethanol. I could certainly tell a difference in the car.
As far as everything else goes, no real point in getting a new air intake, most people will tell you that the enclosed...
This is what I ordered, https://www.cjponyparts.com/lund-racing-ngauge-with-tune-gt-2015-2020/p/NG4-V/
I preferred to get the nGauge because it allows me to have multiple tunes for the car.
In your case, you would buy the nGauge and the tune. Once you got the nGauge delivered, Lund Racing...
And honestly, you won't see that big of a gain for hp. I would spend my money on the tune. You won't be disappointed.
To put it into perspective, a close friend of mine got 450 rwhp from a tune and a catback. Stock headers.
Getting my car tuned by Lund was the best thing I did so far. Particularly the flex fuel tune, really woke the car up. Most agree that you should save your money and not spend it on a CAI. You won't see any noticeable improvements and in fact will run higher IATs.
Just ordered my blower. Really appreciate Team Beefcake being so patient and answering (quickly) all my questions. Just wish you guys were closer so you could actually do the install.
Can't wait to see what numbers I make!
I was amazed at the difference the resonator delete made. Really enjoyed the sound of the car but wanted a bit more so I installed a Borla ATAK. And got more than I bargained for.
