You can't go wrong with that ARH and Steve and the entire ARH team are great to work with. Are you going H or X pipe for your system? I would be interested in hearing the different crossovers from the same manufacturer side by side. Mike V.

Ah yes I went back and tested it and did not notice the hood opens higher with the struts. :) I pulled the hood down a bit and was able to "hook" the prop rod in the hole you would normally use for it. It held just fine and I guess if a gust of wind came pushing the hood up or down the rod...

I saw some flex in the inner portion of the hood where the strut attaches. It was fairly minor and did not seem to translate to the outer skin at all. I am going to have a closer look at it tomorrow to see if there would be an easy way to add a little structure there without it looking terrible...

There will be another convertible cat back option soon. I am dropping my convertible off at ARH when it is (hopefully) delivered next week. According to Steve they will use 2.5" pipe similar to the Ford Racong setup. Full report to come when the install is complete.

Is it worth keeping if it's cut up? Meaning if new pipe would need to be bent and welded by a shop would the labor costs be close to the cost of buying these parts new? I have very limited storage space and while I do not anticipate ever re-installing the stock components I would hate to throw...
