I think the beauty of the S550 platform in general is that the various trim levels all offer a different driving experience. An Eco will be different than a GT which is different than a Mach which is different than a GT350/R which is different than a GT500/CFTP. Some models may share some...
WeatherTech here. Had it in my 2016 and transferred it over to my 2022. I take it out to clean it a handful of times per season (especially after baseball season), still looks like new.
I bought the Ford trunk liner for my dad for Father’s Day a couple years ago, he loves it and it’s held up...
I actually prefer the shipping protection option for larger items. You never know how someone is going to handle that stuff. Smaller or more compact items, not needed IMO. Ford Performance in particular packs all of their items really well, anything that is drop shipped from them I generally...
Welcome, I too like the Mach grille, so much so that I swapped the entire front bumper. Although the halos do blend into the rest of the grille a bit.
I’m also in the no Bronco crowd, my wife has an Explorer though.
LOL, no I know there’s more differences than just the tune for the F-150 but they’re based on the same platform and as you said have many of the same physical parts. The OP saying he’s seen “a lot” of gen 3 failures on this forum is flat out incorrect. The failure rate isn’t zero and there...
No you haven’t. Maybe a few here and there for various reasons, but by no means are there “a lot” of Gen 3 coyote failures. As far as performance engines go, the coyote is about as reliable as it gets. In addition to the Mustang, they’re also in the F-150. Different tune than the Mustang, but...
Meh, I can and will drive a manual but the DCT is just a better suited transmission for the 500. Just like the manual is better suited for the 350/R.
I have not driven a manual ZL1, the auto’s are a riot. Though not as good as the 500 IMO.
There’s a guy up in Wisconsin that got his GTD out on RA the week he took delivery. Has had it out there numerous times now, at least according to his social media. I’m going to try to get up there this summer and cross my fingers he’s there
And to be clear, I don’t think Mike’s question is to intentionally stir the pot. I just think it’s a really tough question to answer in a vacuum. They’re too different to compare straight up, I think some use cases would be needed. It’s like asking which is better, chocolate or strawberry...
