Just ordered mine.. new to this area and I couldn't find a shop I trust to powdercoat on top of my busy schedule so hopefully they'll be in by next weekend.
Yeah I'm at about 3000 myself, a little more than that. Enjoyed every second.
edit: I have not been easy on it though, I'm certain I have hit redline more than most owners. Out here in the Illinois corn fields I open it up regularly.
I know you asked Shift but I previously had 50% all around and 70 on the windshield. The picture is what it looked like (in the rear vs no tint in the front)
Now I have 40% all around and 50 on the windshield on my GT350. In both instances the other Windows appeared darker due to the...
No issues driving at night w/50 on the windshield. I thought about it for a week because I had the same concerns you have but I've had it for over a month now and its been great.
thanks, didn't want to steal the OP's thunder. I had 70 on the windshield of my Honda Accord because I was in Texas through the summer, Crystalline does an amazing job of keeping the interior cool when driving or sitting out in the sun, I highly recommend it.
My GT350 is garaged all of the...
I went Crystalline as well.. shop I went to didnt have anything higher than 50 for the windshield.. so after much thought I went with it (I did 70 on the windshield on my previous car)
In daylight it looks perfectly fine.. in the evening or cloudy days its more noticeable.
First of all, $15k over seems to be standard on Rs right now.
Second. After seeing the R in person the two things you've listed here are the reason to choose the R over a regular one. The red calipers can be swapped out, resonators can be removed (both mods that I am doing or have done) and...
Yeah after seeing this thread this morning I emailed my dealer. I had plans of powdercoating but ordering them will steamline the process.. I'll probably even have the dealer do them (especially since I got MSRP)
After seeing an R in person.. removing the resonators, current wheels (believe it or not I like the GT350 wheels over the R) and eventually getting my calipers powdercoated red, I have no desire for the R
Strangely I notice I get more attention now too.. I dont know how many thumbs up I got on the way back, and if I drive around people turn their heads consistently. Who knew such a small modification could make such a difference.
Feel anything on the butt dyno? I think the sound is giving me...
THAT pissed me off, cause it was up on the lift and he says "You're better off just buying an exhaust or replacing the mufflers, this isn't going to do anything."
I appreciate his concern but with his thinking that there are aftermarket choices, and my detailed request of what I wanted done...
I've driven it around a bit more.. its amazing. Put it in sport mode and it sounds like a monster going down the street. The shop I went to didn't want to do it because they felt I would be wasting my money, but I told them to do it anyway and I'm glad I did.
The exhaust before now was...
yes 2.5, the inability to distinguish is probably a good thing because you certainly notice a difference on the road. It isn't a drastic change, more like the exhaust has been awaken. Where at times it felt like the resonators made the exhaust taper from mid to high RPMs before.. that doesn't...
got it done this morning

First clip is resonated, second clip is non resonated.. the video doesn't convey the difference, driving around it is significant.
