Wow!!! Summit Racing is quick. I got my kit in a day with free shipping. It beat the fuel line disconnect tool kit that I ordered as well. I didn’t think it was going to come in that quick. I just dropped my car off at the Ford body shop to fix the infamous gt350 bootie sag. They had to order...
The kooks system I have actually has the tabs on it to put the dampers. If they didn’t I could see your point but I think kooks designed their system with the intention of removing the damper from the factory exhaust and adding it to theirs.
It also makes sense now that because they welded them...
I have the full kooks system. It has the tab to bolt them to. Ford designed the exhaust with them and kooks designed their system to use them. I figured it would be better with them than without them. I bought my car used about 1 1/2 years ago and the guy before me had a custom exhaust on it...
That’s not the info I wanted to hear but thanks for the reply. I haven’t seen this topic in any exhaust posts. If you google it you will only see my thread from SVT that I posted about a year ago which only one person responded to. I found a few salvage yards with gt350s that they were parting...
I posted this last year on the svt forums and didn’t get hardly any responses so I figured I would try here as well. Does anyone know what the part number or where to find the vibration dampers in the picture of the stock exhaust posted? They are round weights designed to stop some of the...
I had my oil changed on my 2016 gt350 at my local dealership. I usually change it myself. I figured I would give them a shot because it was actually cheaper than me buying everything online because I can’t find motorcraft 5w50 and the filter at any of my local stores. They changed it about 3...
To answer your question yes the valves are just in the exhaust tips. I’ve posted a picture below to show you what they look like. It’s basically a baffle that opens and closes with an actuator. I have the full kooks system with green cats. The kooks mufflers actually have a place to bolt the...
Oh and one more thing. If you get the part number off of this site you can google it to find the best price. So you don’t have to buy it from Tasca. But they do have decent prices.
If you go to Tasca Parts and look up your year and Ford, Mustang and gt350 you can find the part number for any OEM part. Stripes are under body then stripes I believe.
Below is a link for the 2016 stripes. I’m not sure what year your is.

I tried contacting you but didn’t get a response. My buddy found a wrecked gt350 in Georgia with Recaro seats and bought them. It installed them and they look great.
