It's a no brainer... as people add more HP to the EB they will need more cooling/venting to eliminate the heat. The FORD updates for 2016 have already come out and there will not be OEM vents for the EB. So there are two model years (2015 and 2016 at the least) that could use hood...
We need something like this for the 2015 model year.

Steeda's Q-series Functional Hood is the same hood used in our popular Q-series serialized cars.
Continuing in the Steeda tradition of designing parts with function...
You can definitely go deeper into turn 2 and do some later breaking. That could get you down to 1:41. Going into Turn 11 as well. Overall very impressed. Are you doing anything with EB PP Mustangs?
1:43 is a great time. I was there on Friday at Laguna as well. I was in the Red group, but could not get a decent time because the track was always cold after the electric cars were out there. As a reference point, I have done a 1:43 with my existing 2011 GT, it is an auto with eibach sways...
I am looking at the RS3 as well. Most likely will order late summer to get a 2016. I'm with you on the cosmetic aspects... not interested in fake scoops. I would prefer just the suspension, performance and aero mods: Adjustable Coilovers, Supercharger, brake cooling and variable exhaust...
Prepare to pay Dealer markup.
I checked in the Bay Area and they all wanted $10k to $20k dealer markup, plus a hefty down payment to reserve a slot. I'll wait until the regular production run comes out.
Hi Kyle,
The RS3 looks great. What is the weight difference between the RS2 vs. RS3? I am just looking for ball park numbers here to understand the trade off of the extra weight vs. extra HP with the Supercharger setup. Thanks in advance.
Jim.
