I've been staring at the side of my Heritage Edition for a week and a half or so now and I can't help but think how great it would look if the calipers were Guardsman Blue to match the stripes rather than black. Has anyone else changed the color of theirs? Is it a pain in the ass? Easy to get...
I didn't get the Wrangler until it had 98k on it and it lived in the St Louis area with its first owner. I did a 4" lift at about 100k and a friend who helped me had done several lifts on Wrangler TJs and noted that mine was by far in the best shape underneath than any he had seen. We only had...
If that's the case, I wouldn't sweat it at all. I live in central IL and even the cars I drive day to day aren't eaten up with rust. As long as you wash the salt off your car it won't be a problem. Only vehicle I have that has any rust at all is my 2002 Jeep Wrangler. It's got a little bubble...
Listening to that guy gives me the same feeling as listening to Chicago sports talk radio. It's his opinion I guess, but I disagree with him. I think it looks fine. I've had my HEP for a week and I've spent hours looking at the side of this car and I've never once had the same reaction. F that...
I haven't taken it above about 5500 but she sure comes alive once she hits 3000. I can't wait to be able to see those shift lights!! Gotta be nice to her for a while though.
It's been a whirlwind the last few days and I'm running on very little sleep and even less food, but it's here. I'm finally sitting in my garage staring...or maybe drooling...at my brand new 2020 Shelby GT350 Heritage Edition. This is like a childhood dream come true. Months of dreaming and...
No sir, I have yet to drive it. The day we did the deal it was raining all day so taking it out wasn't an option. I've read up on the break in process and rest assured this car will not see anywhere close to the redline until it's properly broken in. I couldn't imagine hopping in a car of this...
Just got off the phone with my salesman. He has assured me that the camber plates have been installed and the alignment redone. Now that I've looked at those threads on here about it I can at least visually identify this tomorrow but I should be good to go.
That was one of the reasons that my wife agreed to this whole thing. In this year where everything is upside down and our normal lives are so disrupted we will always remember that in November 2020 we got our first Shelby. Not just any Shelby either. The friggin Heritage Edition!!
Only took a couple at the dealership. I'll have many more tomorrow. They didn't have the splitter installed because it wouldn't clear the hump going down into the showroom. It will have the splitter and Gurney flap installed when I pick it up.
Here I sit in my freshly cleaned garage, watching the oil heat up to fry my turkey. I suppose I should be thinking more about eating Thanksgiving dinner, but all I can think about right at this moment is going tomorrow to finalize the paperwork and driving home my 2020 GT350 Heritage Edition...
