    I have had this issue at times. Usually, a sharp rap of the fob will provide for better contact of the batteries and I'm good to go. Unless the batts are run down again...

    Taller never helps with cornering, wider does in general. You could probably get away with 10mm wider no problem, IIRC there is a thread or 2 here that can expand on that. You need to measure your clearances to be sure.

    My CS tail lights came 'smoked' from the factory. IIRC, the 50th anniversary ones are the same.
