Morning folks,
looking at a second set of wheels to use for summer tires and eventually track tires most likely. I know people recommend going down to 18s from 19s. I’m curious how you all are handling the size difference in tires and resulting speedo (maybe abs) issues? It doesn’t seem like...
Morning all.
I have a 2020 Bullitt, so 9” wheels up front and 9.5” in back. My understanding is that 275s can fit on a 9” wheel, without being too hard to mount.
if I put 275s up front and keep 275s in back, could I then rotate my tires like a square setup? Or is there something precluding me...
afternoon all,
I learned manual on my current 2020 Bullit. My friend has a GT3 touring coming and doesn’t know stick, and have let him learn and practice a bit on my car.
a couple times he stalled it by forgetting to clutch in when stopping - no big deal in my mind.
however, after one of...
I know this is an old thread but this limitation is either tied to having digital dash or to a pre-2021. I had a 2021 GT with active exhaust but old dash and if I set the exhaust with the ignition on, it would start up in that mode.
I have a bullit with digital dash now, and I cannot manually...
Pretty sure that’s mostly from being a driver vs being a passenger, and also done for tv.
idk if you’ve ridden shotgun for track laps but it’s much harder to brace effectively
Any tips on switching out the clutch spring? The install video looks so easy but both me and my friend are really struggling to get the needle nose vise grips to clamp on the spring and not slide off
The screen changes, removing the switches, etc are unforgivably stupid. I’m so sick of car companies slapping two iPads on and calling it a day, and charging you more.
I specifically didn’t buy one near me at a great price in my dream spec because of the new gen interior and rear. Do they focus...
I don’t work there or anything but I do buy fabricated items for work and the increased cost of raw metals is crazy.
not helpful of me really but I saw this on the home page
Thanks, Paul!
Rental car is an interesting idea. I wonder if rental companies even rent out standards?
I guess I could try Turo but I’d feel bad for the host!
I was under the impression that I probably wouldn’t be doing much damage to the car by slipping the clutch at low speed, going slowly...
Yeah I’m partially just stressed in traffic with everyone behind me, and partially concerned I’ll break the car lurching/stalling etc as I get a handle on it
I had the salesman drive it and he was quite smooth on it so I’m sure it is just me. I guess I was looking for tips and shortcuts to get better faster
mainly a daily - not much dailying though… public transport to work 3 days a week ideally. Some mild track use, I’m not an advanced driver by...
