It is true that motor craft and others are built in the same plant, but they are not made with the same specs. Fords recipe is better than the others and that is why it is a better battery. FACT!

I have used lacquer thinner on a rag to soften, and a nylon pan scarper to remove it. set the soaked rag on top of the adhesive and let the foam get wet, then use the scraper to push the area clean. Your wife should have a pan scraper for you to use.
