Ordered an Expansion tank, a UPR. And ordered some fuel and EVAP fittings to finish off my purge valve install. Mounted the 5.0 badge from the engine cover to the radiator cover. Last week I cut up the engine cover and made it fit the 2018 intake manifold that I installed last year. I had put a...
I just replaced all my coils with Motor craft DG - 542 coil from ebay and it was only $132.00 plus tax OEM parts. I have a 2015 GT pp1 with LTH, MBRP cat back exhaust, 2018 intake manifold, JLT CAI Auto Mafia tune. They work great!
Anyone interested in engine cover for 2018 5.0 manifold? If you put a 2018 intake manifold on your 2015 - 2017 Mustang and would like an engine cover that fits your car, this is it. It comes with the oil filler extinction tube. One of a kind. Because this one was custom built just for the change...
Painted the coil overs and my modified engine covers today I still have to do the Powered by Ford letters and the stripes in red. I am going to repurpose the 5.0 badge from the 2015 engine cover and mount that on the plastic radiator cover, just behind the hood latch. I have it shining like a...
It is true that motor craft and others are built in the same plant, but they are not made with the same specs. Fords recipe is better than the others and that is why it is a better battery. FACT!
I don't have anything that nice, I am just happy to have a tool room lathe and a small milling machine. No DRC but they get the job done. I am retired so I don't have the need for the quality tools like yours. I do have great appreciation for such equipment.
I just modified my 2015 engine cover so it will fit on my 2018 intake manifold. I had bought a 2018 engine cover and after I made a purge valve mounting bracket The cover no longer fits. So, back to the 2015 cover. If I go without a cover, I have to see those ugly heater hoses and that just is...
My car runs great, but I get a random misfire and then it is followed by specific cylinder misfire codes. It never misfires, just throws a code. Changed all coils and plugs. Replaced the CAI with a JLT - FMG 15 updated the tune and replaced the purge valve. None of this has changed the code...
All my mods are aftermarket. All my maintenance parts are Ford. Oil, oil filters, battery, purge valve, piolet bear, fly wheel bolts, coils. Aftermarket, transmission stage 2 Calimer, clutch and fly wheel Mcleod, drive shaft Dorman, 2018 intake manifold CJ pony, headers Stainless power, exhaust...
It is not plugs and coils so don't waste your time checking that if you had real misfires on two cylinders you would feel it. Do you have a SCTX4 device? plug it in and do a KAM relearn. Make sure you didn't mess up your intake tube air flow. Or is the MAF sensor in the proper angle. It sounds...
I have used lacquer thinner on a rag to soften, and a nylon pan scarper to remove it. set the soaked rag on top of the adhesive and let the foam get wet, then use the scraper to push the area clean. Your wife should have a pan scraper for you to use.
Finished the JLT CAI install late today so Friday I can do the relearn phase. I already have a tune installed but I want to have the ECU pick up on the new air flow parameters. I hope this will stop all the misfire codes I was getting with the old CAI. I had to make one plug for an inlet that...
I never said that the tire has an expiration date on them. I said they have an expiration date. That date is ten years after the MFG date. Check with any tire company. F all of you. Do not drive on old tires!
Tires have an expiration date of ten years; NO tire shop will install a tire 10 years old on a vehicle. I had my own tire shop and wouldn't even repair a tire ten years old. Tires are made with petroleum and when the tire gets old the petroleum dries out and they are not safe to be on the road...
