I have a set of WeatherTech Front Floor Mats for my 2022 Mustang GTCS that I have traded in on a new Ford Ranger Raptor.
I don't want to ship them because it would be very awkward and expensive so local pickup only near Tallahassee or I can meet someone halfway if reasonable.
I'd like to get...
The Pirellis that came with my GTCS were incredibly poor. 4 times they hydroplaned on me and twice I was almost completely sideways before I got it straightened out and at 70MPH on an interstate that ain't fun. Dry pavement traction was poor as well.
After 20K miles on them I simply couldn't...
Both my Mustang GT's love (loved) Costco Premium and I would occasionally run low and didn't want to make the trip and was always curious about performance differences.
Try as I might I simply can't tell the difference between Costco's premium and the major oil companies' like Shell, Exxon...
The Mustang V8's have always had a unique and very pleasing roar.
Yes... I think the S550 is the best of a long line of Mustangs. The one I have now is my third Mustang and I've loved them all.
My friends can never help but smile when they here it coming, going or just plain roaring... :)
The air cooled seats in my 2022 GTCS are very cool to the point of being too cool on some days and I shut it off. The fan speed for the main AC unit that delivers cool air to the dash vents directly controls the fan speed for the ventilated suede leather seats both bottom and back sides. I just...
If it has the Torsen Limited Slip Differential it might be that. Mine does it and it's very annoying sometimes. In my GTCS it usually shows up most noticeably before I've driven it far after a cold start and it's most obvious when I'm turning under acceleration...
I have OEM Pirellis on my 22GTCS and they're much quieter than the Goodyear All Seasons I had on my 2020GT Premium but I HATE the Pirellis. They slip at the drop of a hat on dry pavement and are horrible in the rain and tend to hydroplane easily!
I think I'd put up with the extra noise of the...
My 22GTCS regularly gets 26-28mpg on the interstate here in mostly flat north Florida and I set my cruise at 83 and run that speed about 70% of the time when traffic allows and rarely below 78.
Every day driving nets me 21-22mpg and I reset the odometer every thousand or two miles or before a...
According to this chart the USA ranks 102nd in air pollution out of 134 countries. Number one has the highest air pollution and 134 has the lowest and we keep improving.
Forcing Americans to drive electric cars is not about pollution it's about government control and agendas and the...
At 3500 miles that was the symptom I had but it got progressively worse. I just turned over 15k miles and now even in a straight line under 50 if I punch it I risk getting sideways. I agree with the people that say that the OEM Pirellis are lousy but I can't imagine they're this lousy.
BTW...
The winter here lately has been high 40's in the mornings and low 70's in the afternoons... Surely that makes a difference but not that much... Hard to say.
Guys you're missing the fact that it makes horrible noises at super low speeds and that it will fishtail with only moderate power. I drove my 2020GT over 20K miles and it never even once surprised me, never fishtailed unless I purposefully made it do so and it didn't make any weird noises.
This...
Yes... I'll keep y'all posted... I'm curious to find out what the problem is. I DO remember that the first time I took it in and they test drove it they at least changed out the fluid in the rear end and said there were no metal filings in the oil.
For the record... I fully admit to driving a car that I probably shouldn't be driving at this point. Call me careless and I won't defend myself. I'm gonna take it in at the first opportunity and thanks to all for the help and advice.
That wasn't a test.... I was merely driving it the way I always have. That was the first time I ever had a traction problem with it in a straight line and I was surprised.
LOL.... Yes I did.... I have obligations that I can't get out of the next couple of days and Monday as well but most likely Tuesday I'll take it in assuming I can get an appointment.
