Mine came with the small factory blade, and I just recently upgraded to the gt500 swing. I run without the gurney flap installed and am really happy with it!
Ya, no problem. Yes, I got the tie rod pretty close to parallel with the lca by eyeballing it. Where I messed up was I set the height of the tie rod with the suspension at full droop. Should have known better. I wonder what kind of difference in handling there will be between your kit and just...
I just got back from the alignment shop for the second time. First go around, I had too much spacer above the rod end, and it made everything worse. I ended up with most of the spacers on the bottom with one of the medium spacers above the rod end and am really happy with how it handles now. I...
Afternoon all, just wrapping up an install of steeda's bumpsteer kit. The car is a 2015 Gt lowered 1" on eibach pro kit. I know there is a professional way to measure bumpsteer and adjust accordingly, but I am opting for the eyeball method trying to line up the tie rod to control arm. I feel I...
That's odd, I just checked rockauto after reading your post, and the same pump that I bought isn't even listed. No idea what's going on there. As far as changing the pump preemptively, that would have to be your call. Personally, I'd try and check for any play in the bearing on the water pump...
My mileage is right 48000, which I wouldn't consider to be that much. I guess the bearing can go anytime on these pumps. The pump I ended up ordering was from rockauto. The brand was Dayco, and apparently comes with a 120k warranty if you register it. The price was $69 I think. As far as...
Thank you, I appreciate the reassurance. I agree, without tearing the engine apart to thoroughly flush the passages, there isn't much to be done. I drained the radiator, and am going to put new coolant in it tonight. I'm probably just going to roll with it.
I just finished up installing a new water pump on my 15 GT over the weekend. I ended installing an aftermarket pump with a metal impeller as opposed to the Ford part with the plastic bits. Everything went well with the install, but after putting everything back together, paranoia set in. I'm...
The reverse lockout collar rattled on my car after I installed the blowfish shifter mount. I fixed the problem by installing a solid billet steeda reverse lockout collar. Is that where you noise is coming from? As for increase in temperature, the installer probably didn't push the shifter...
Selling a set of oem 20" Foundry wheels. They come with Nitto NT555 G2 tires in 265/35-20 with about 4500 miles on them. Tire pressure monitors come installed. Only thing missing is center caps as they went on my new wheels. Factory lugs are available if wanted. Looking to get $1000 for everything
I was in the same boat as you. I was happy with just the Roush axle back, but wanted just a little more out of it. With the Steeda h-pipe, you can always reverse the mod. Give it a try, if it's too loud for you, reinstall the stock resonator. I think you will be happy with it though and leave it...
I have the Roush axle back paired with a Steeda H-pipe on my '15 GT and am happy with it. Cold starts are loud, but not crazy. Cruising around, the exhaust is manageable, but when you stab that throttle, it screams!
In my case they did. I was coming from a larger wheel than you would be, but I'm sure your results would be close to mine. FYI, the tires I'm running are 285/35 19 front and 305/35 19 on the rear.
The 19x10 sp2's weigh 24.1 lbs according to LMR. I can't see your stock wheels weighing less than that. I just upgraded to the sp2 wheels from the original 20" foundry wheels. I got the staggered 19x10 and 19x11 set and love them! I weighed my stock wheels with tires and compared to the new sp2...
I tried drilling a hole in the transmission bushing insert, but the nvh was too much for me to handle for a daily driver, so I took the insert back out and completely removed the flat section at the bottom. The nvh was significantly better and I could still feel the positive results of...
I did the blowfish shifter bracket as well as the white line insert. I completely removed the flat part of the insert, which really made a difference in nvh reduction, and my shifts feel much better now.
