They are 20x9.5. not sure what the offset is, but theres no poke. I am running 2.25 degrees of camber though so not sure if it would poke with stock camber. I have a set of 19x10.5 +45 and I run the 20mm spacer with those which is why I had spacers on hand.
I have these wheels that have a similar lip on the inside that barely rubbed my brembos. Luckily I had spacers on hand so I put 20mm spacers on which allowed the inner lip to be offset from the caliper. I'd recommend just putting on some spacers.
What are your thoughts on this aftermarket transmission oil pan with a drain plug? Has anyone installed one of these? I am thinking of installing one of these for quick and easy fluid changes every few track days. Also, if I routinely do an oil drain and fill without changing the filter would...
The clunking started the day I installed these so it's gotta be something I messed with. I was suspecting these just had bad bearings to begin with, and I emailed BMR and they said they had some QC issues with bearings on the caster plates. It could also be the endlinks. I just bolted them on...
About a year ago I installed BMR camber plates on Ford Performance M-18000F struts. Ever since then, they've been clunking or at least that's what I think. It started immediately after I installed them, and I've reinstalled them multiple times to make sure I did everything correctly. I've about...
Any recommendations on fluid choices and how much I would need? Just hit 50k miles.
Looking at Motul 600 for PP Brembo brakes, but don't know about radiator, diff, and trans. Are the options at autozone/napa okay or should I look elsewhere?
Any recommendations for brake fluid? PP Brembo brakes. Daily driver, with occasional track day. I've seen Motul 660 thrown around. Is that good for a daily? How much will I need?
So Ford wants to hit sub 7:00 at the nurburgring? Why do they care about that all of a sudden, but never cared enough to test the Ford GT there. Maybe they did but didn't release the times because they were dissapointing.
Ya I thought the pic they posted looked like cantilever coilovers, but I talked to someone that went to the event last night and he said it is indeed mid engine. He saw it up close.
It is certainly doable to get the heat issues under control. I have not done it, but here is what I would do:
1. ESS G2/G3 centri with larger intercooler. Maybe use an interchiller to get even colder temps.
2. 160 degree thermostat.
3. VMP triple pass heat exchanger (radiator). They use this on...
I know a lot of people just use the stock hood with Track Spec vents. Much cheaper than an aftermarket hood, and looks pretty awesome, and also significantly improves cooling. I've heard some people that use these say their CHTs drop 20 degrees. I don't think there's an aftermarket hood that...
I personally would rule out a 16 gt350 for the known engine issues. The coyote is just a better engine in terms of reliability especially vs the early 5.2s. However the gt350 will likely hold its value better. If you can find a used GT500 for not too much more than a DH then I would jump on that.
