Does it smell like rotten eggs?

Hydrogen is orderless. Hydrogen sulfate smells like rotten eggs and is created when a battery is overcharged. What readings are you getting on your voltmeter?

I have Interstate on the 21 Mach 1, 71 GTO and 69 Corvette. On the two older cars I replace the battery at 8 years to be safe. I keep all 3 cars on a battery maintainer whenever they are not being used. Have you tried locking the car and placing the key fobs a significant distance away from the car?

Are you always using the same brand battery, if so , what brand?

Have there been any modifications to the exhaust system or any work that would have required the exhaust to be removed?

There is nothing wrong. I have my car on a Deltran tender and if I don't use it after about two weeks the car goes into saver mode.

Have you used a multimeter to confirm accuracy of those numbers?

My 21 Mach 1 battery lasted 4 years replaced with Interstate and reset battery monitor at time of install. When not used for a period of more than a few days use smart trickle charger from Deltran.

My bad, did not even bother to ask but was totally satisfied with the job.

I had a windshield replaced by Safelite. They do the calibration, dealer not required.

Like them very much. Unless you are really pushing can't tell the difference.

I had the same experience with a dehumidifier. Cut plug, sent pictures showing cut plug and serial number, they sent me a new dehumidifier. Just do as they instructed.

I think you have to actually mark the bottom of the filter with a sharpie to know exactly whether it is one turn or only 3/4 of a turn. It's not about strength it's about accuracy of the amount of turns.

After the O ring touches the mount, how much additional turns do you go? I have always applied oil to the O ring and tightened 1 full turn. Never leaked. So far 4 oil and filter changes.
