over 500,000 Mustang GT's have been produced since the early 2000teens world wide. Over a 100,000 in the us since 2015. As mentioned, modded cars scare off some folks and then there's the mileage. When I was looking for my C5 a few years back, I wanted to find a stock unmodded car to mod to my...
Spoiled rich kid? That's funny! I am 68 years old and served my time in the military, got out, put myself through school with my GI Bill and then earned every penny I spend. My parents didn't have jack. But they did instill a good work ethic in me. Not everybody with some cash is a "rich kid"...
To each his own, at least it isn't quite as trashy as a soccer mom's honda civic with the entire pep boys catalog of cheesy parts stuck on it! Those make me want to rage with a baseball bat! And of course, you gotta have the chain link tag surround! Type R wanna be! But stock rims? jeezus kid---...
I am sure E85 would take it over 500 but I am keeping it tuned on 93. E85 is available around me but I like the ease of just rolling up anywhere and filling up with some top tier 93 and being done. I have 3 vehicles and don't want to worry about E85 sitting in the fuel system over the winter as...

I am 68 and love the sound of a nice V8 with headers and a good resonated exhaust system. I go to a lot of car shows and see many guys in my age group with their M-whatever, or AMGs and those stupid burble tunes trying to look hip and cool but when I role in with my Bullitt or my C5, I...
C7 is the best looking of the modern era Vettes IMO. I came close to buying one, but I have always loved the 2019/20 Bullitts, so I found a low mile 20 that was stock and bought it. I bought the Bullitt because I wanted a manual to play with and after having my 24 F150 with a Whipple, I really...
There is a bit more loss through the auto than a manual, but that seems a bit low for having headers and a resonator delete with a CAI and a tune. The tune you are running is the FORD Perf tune right? No tuner actually tuned your car, the dyno was just to see what the provided tune got you? Most...
I run Stainless Works w/ their cats and H pipe on my 20 Bullitt. Fit great and have the angled 02 ports. Car is tuned by 5Star and runs great. Kooks are awesome headers but pricey. I have them on my 02 Vette but were installed a few years back before they got all guchi priced!
I am currently running the BG with the MGC additive and it works pretty good. The MT82 will always have a bit of "notchiness" feeling to it, just the way they are.
BG Products Universal MGC
BG It is pretty good. I was using AMSOIL prior to that, which is my usual go to. BG is a little pricey...
I use an HP Tuners MPVI4 and the TDM app on both my Iphone (work phone) and my Android (personal phone). Works great and I can always hook up the laptop to get deep in the tune if needed. I especially like that I can use this set up across multiple cars and trucks by just buying credits from HP...
Got an email back from Tremec saying their new Magnum XL for the 2019+ S550 that supports DSRM and back up camera will be ready to be sold 1 July. If you are looking to do a swap or get your MT82 done in your 2019+ S550, might be the time to go Magnum XL.
I run Stainless Works LTH with GESI cats, Stainless Works H pipe back to my stock Active exhaust on the Bullitt. Car is tuned and I have the Quiet mode set up for the full day, and it is not bad at all on start up. Quiet mode really knocks it down a lot. My F150 has stock manifolds and a SPD Y...
Tremec is releasing the Magnum XL that supports DSRM and back up camera for the 19+ on 1 July. You probably want your trans back before then but worth thinking about before you drop 3ish g's on a MT82 rebuild. Just a thought.
No, it is a bit rowdier on Sport and up on the active exhaust when you put your foot in it. Quiet mode sounds the same. The car pulls much better and I am very happy with the tune. 486/435 to the wheels.
Stock A4 auto 4L60E replaced with a RPM Level 5 to handle the power. low 10's consistently and she dynoed at 650 to the wheels.
Looks are always a personal preference thing, your girlfriend is pretty to you, I think she's fat and ugly- ;)
One of the best cars GM ever made-C5. Reliable, easy to work on and the LS1 makes great power especially when you add a blower/cam/heads with a RPM Level 5 trans and Kooks headers w/Corsa exhaust. My 02 has 60K miles and a bunch of 1/4 mile work and it keeps going strong. Taking it to SickSummer...
Motorcraft are no better than any other major brand. 2024 F150's had a huge issue with crap stock batteries. Lots were replaced under warranty. I replaced mine with a X2 H8 AGM from Batteries Plus, great warranty (48 month free replacement) and it is holding up well. I use the stock one to power...
I run 93 but my car is tuned with headers/H pipe and active exhaust and it is a NA Bullitt. I run a bottle of Amsoil fuel system cleaner at least once a year because I can't always get top tier gas, but I try too-
