I had a set of callaway mag wheels on my 1989 corvette. The mag wheels have a special primer on them. The problem is you cannot powercoat them they have to be hand stripped and you have to put this special primer on them to seal them. You can only paint them and when they bend you cry cannot fix...
If you told them not to put the stripes on and they did then they are the ones to remove them at there expense. The paint should be dry now its modern paint not like the old school stuff. Its there problem how to remove them. I think a heat gun will take them right off.
sorry to see that. most people dont care. i dont take my mustang out to the shopping malls or the dinner spots. After living in nyc for many years you just get used to shit boxes parking and hitting your bumper covers. Never brought a nice car into the city for that reasion. Now i used the car...
torque your wheels when they are off the ground. there is a good reasion for that. i put a mop stick on the brake pedal and torque them off the ground. or you can have a friend steep on the brake pedal to hold the wheel in place. just think the ferrair testarossa with center lock setups go on at...
thats a nice one has not see the north east winters. With a quick trip to the car wash and power wash the engine compartment it will look fine after a detail. It looks good for 100k car. make sure the clutch is in good nick. Buy this one they are in short supply and the prices are only going up...
thats what i used on my porsche 928 and that was a track car only. as i said he loves to spend money and changes his mind like the wind. maybe wooden wagon wheels might solve the problem
its for a friend of mine he is looking for a stiff ride idk why. The car is street driven. i told him to get the ford track pack suspension he ordered it and then canceled the order. He is always changing his mind. I have set up my gt with the konis and the stop the hop kit. He has the h and r...
I want to change the springs out on a pp1 gt. I am looking for the stiffest springs possible. I know there are a lot out there. Ride quality is unimportant. I dont think the steeda springs will work on fomoco shocks. I am looking for a stiff ride. Anybody have some ideas
5.3 million wonder what the true value is.....ok so he beat the shit out of it ... It was owned by a school teacher used a few years then put in a barn for 25 years. still has its movie mounts no headliner but its way cool... love to own it but i am way to poor ... my 2018 gt will have to due...
you are best off putting in the steeda stop the hop kit. Its not a lot of work to install. you dont need more horse power if you cannot stop the wheel hop. I have only had good luck with mine i run the track and back roads here in pa and it keeps the car from doing crazy stuff in the corners. It...
It looks like you will need to get them refinished. I hate bad techs. I have been one for over 25 years these kids dont know what they are doing getting high at lunch. I due my own work. I feel bad for you and hope you can recover the cost to get them refinished
i just finished doing my base model gt with a koni kit. It worked out great with the 1 inch drop. I have always run konis never had a problem. If you are going to upgrade the suspension get the steeda stop the hop kit. It works very well and it fixes the rear irs problem. I got the gt 350r sway...
live in pa close to allentown just got my gt inspected and i have a h pipe in mine. You will be fine you can even change the exaust if you like just dont play around with the cats.
I have always run the koni shocks. I tried bilsteins in the past to stiff. I have never had any problems with the koni shocks. I was going to put the steeda shocks in but they had told me that only there springs would work. Back to the konis. The adjustment was put on the konis to adjust for...
