This guide worked for me.
Battery icon flashed and all that.
Turned it all the way on an I had a CEL.
It was a warning saying the PCM had been de-energized.
Cleared it and let it run for a few minutes. Turned it off and locked it for the 8 hour slumber.
Went with 96R DieHard AGM for...
All the video clips I see are for NA cars. I would imagine that pumping another 230+HP through the exhaust is going to make it sound a little different. Maybe I'm wrong.
Does anyone have some links/clips of exhaust sounds on twin screw boosted motors?
No worries. I didn't pinpoint which part was causing it until post #24. Nothing anyone could help with remotely. I had to find it on my own.
Other people complain of similar noises, but it could be 50 different things.
Thanks again. I just had so many things installed at once that it was a matter of picking apart what I had done. By the time I finally located it it was obvious what needed to be done.
Next time I'll call support and you guys can listen to cry on the phone like, "Where the shit is that noise...
I appreciate the reply. I've personally never dealt with a joint like that before.
I for sure will keep an eye on them going forward.
I know it could sound like a possible deterrent from a marketing standpoint, but a little line somewhere warning of this possibility could end up saving other...
Well I think the horses already left the stable on using that stuff so I'm probably stuck having to just reload as needed. Plus honestly if you read the description it doesn't say anything about using it on joints or other moving parts.
Nothing about that stuff would suggest to me that it's a lubricating grease.

Boy oh boy a little fuckin heads up somewhere on their website would have been nice. Thanks for confirming with them. I hope it helps you.
I'll grab that stuff they suggest as I DD mine so it's bounds to happen again.
Wish I knew! Nothing I read in the marketing or install when I purchased and installed them ever said they'd have to be greased.
I'm thinking the stuff I posted a couple replies up should be good to have on hand.
I'll see how long the white lithium lasts before spending money on...
Thank you, thank you. *bow*
Anyone recommend a better lube solution for a heim ball joint than white lithium?
I found this stuff, but have no experience with it...
SOLVED - Quick thing, it eventually started happening on both sides.
After going out in the 70+ degree and sunny day, I waited for it to start making the noise. Rushed home, jacked it up, took the wheels off and loosened the vertical links. Pushing stuff around I could faintly hear the...
So of course we have a couple 55 degree days back to back and again the car doesn't make the noise unless it's over 70 degrees and sunny.
So I lifted the car and torqued back to spec the Steeda subframe braces on each side. Some of those bolts definitely needed torquing.
I also loosed...
Overboard... I know it and once you start putting those stressed on the OEM parts, the parts dealers turn into drug dealers. "Oh you broke your stock bushing???? Well look what I have here..."
Always a good suggestion.
One of the last pieces I was planning on replacing was those camber arms with one from Steeda.

Replaced the broken bolt, noise remains.
Thank you for this info. The only thing I have that you don't out of that list is the Steeda IRS Subframe Braces - Fastback. That would be really easy to take off, but if you're getting the same noise, I'll concentrate my efforts elsewhere.
Steeda...
So I got under the car while it was sitting full weight on the ground, no jacks, and started torquing down bolts. Torqued one of the bolts on the rear passenger side sway bar bracket then went to the other, get it a quarter turn and SNAP. MOTHER EFF'IN MOTHER EFFER. :frusty:
Was able to get...
