Maybe my M1 is different but if I use Quite Start it stays there until I change it on the steering wheel(sound only) or the Mode toggle switch for actual sound and suspension etc.
To be clear. When closing the trunk the forward corners were lifting. First with the stronger lift Steeda version. Then with the light Steeda set. Too much opposing force from the lift strut I guess. All is well with the re-install of the stock set.
I regret installing Steeda trunk lid struts. After only a few opening and closings I noticed the forward corners of the trunk were lifting every time I closed it. The struts were forcing the corners up. I let Steeda know in an email and asked if they would refund me. No answer from them. Now...

Yeah I was surprised to hear it when I did the first cold start. But I’m ok with it in the neighborhood. Quiet mode opens up nicely on acceleration. The other three modes are awesome. Especially in the higher RPM’s.
Steeda X on a 22 Mach 1 w/ active. Quite mode is quieter than stock which I like for starts in the AM. Otherwise the X sounds incredible to me. I have only praise for the welds and ease of installation.
