(Darn it, Kyle. You responded before I could finish my thought. I'm leaving it anyway cuz it shows I was right lol)
Kyle (not to put words in his mouth, but I bet his response will be similar) would go 30 series, as would most running an 18, because the wheels are probably going to be 11" wide...
Both of my Mach 1 bumper purchases have been from Ikon and I've had no manufacturing issues with them. Fit was good enough for me. And only emailed CS once and was responded to in an acceptable amount of time.
Oh, I know it's a moronic progression, but I'm in a position where I could probably make it happen now. Feels like one of those "If I don't do it now, I may not get ever get a chance" scenarios.
Mostly done. Gotta peel passenger quarter/pillar, then pop off the handles, door cards, and hood vents to get some remaining little bits.
I really want a 911. Looking at a 991, either Turbo/S or GT3.
Still here, still slowly peeling. Toying with the idea of going back to stock and trading it in as a down payment for something significantly more expensive.
Slowly but surely working at getting this thing peeled. Granted, I’ve not had it back in my hands too long from getting the bumper painted.
(And yes, if you zoom in on my tires, they’re on backwards. Just realized that while laying in my driveway.)
I also had your experience when I removed my airbag to replace the steering wheel - talk about a pain in the rear. My issue was my allens were too small to sit on the spring without slipping off. Hoping I'll have a little more magic if I do the clicky paddles.
The juxtaposition of these...
Getting them further away from the wheel might be worth it in and of itself, I fat finger the paddles too often during autocross. Have a link for where you got them?
Devil's advocate - that's probably just a one-off issue. I've got the same fog/turn combo, as well as the side marker lights for the rear and some SS3 pods that'll get installed on my Mach 1 bumper eventually. Fog/turn combo have been rock solid for the almost 3 years I've had them. Agree that...
Missed our first fun event this year :( Weather was stellar this past weekend too.
Getting a new bumper painted/installed then gonna have to replace my transmission pan. Ran over a rock dropping it off for the bumper and put a hole in it.
I don't update the thread every time I take my bumper off or put it back on lol. It's been 4 weeks this time around and only been driven maybe thrice? But the thinking is I want to go back to a Mach 1 bumper and took my OEM back off to make it easier on the guy painting it/me. And I like driving...
Appreciate you clarifying, but already aware of what it’ll take lol. I knew what I was getting myself into when I picked em up. I’d have to cut the strut towers to get to 3* and not interested in doing that currently. Or running camber bolts.
This is current poke and I’m a fan.
