  1. OTR Intake(DIY)

Made it back to the track and reset our best ET, but only by 1/100th. Ran a 10.51 at 129 with a 1.57 60’. That’s with a 3.55 rear gear. We’ll definitely be switching to a 3.73 which should improve our 60’. The plan is to run June 12th, 13th and 14th. With my son driving this time and a few car...

  3. OTR Intake(DIY)

I finally decided to try and make my own OTR intake. I didnā€˜t have to use the Ecoboost radiator to gain clearance because of the Kaenen ā€œBubbleā€ hood I run(No hinges or latch, it uses Dzus fasteners). I ended up buying tubing bends that I didn’t use trying to figure out the correct bends I...

  16. 8.50 cage and Fire Suppression

I just looked at my invoice, it’s actually $7200. Definitely a huge investment, but along with the Racetech containment seat it lowers my anxiety when my son is driving the caršŸ˜‚
  17. 8.50 cage and Fire Suppression

To have the interior pulled, dash pulled, windshield and back window removed, cage installed and painted….then everything put back in….was about $6500. We’ve worn neck devices for the last 2 years.

  19. 8.50 cage and Fire Suppression

I won’t be relocating all the wiring at this time. Yes, this car is a dedicated 1/4 mile track car. I specifically ordered this car 4 years ago to drag race only and never be street driven. The only goal was to spend time at the track with my son. It only has 850 miles on itšŸ˜‚ We pulled all the...
  20. 8.50 cage and Fire Suppression

I know what it’s legal to run without a cage. I’m putting a cage and Racetech seat in for my safety and my son’s safety. Most people only add safety when it’s required….i add safety because it’s always a priority.
