I personally wouldn't do it. It's going to mess with your handling. If you want to change the height between front and rear then go coilovers. Then you can adjust them to where you want them. But judging from your tire and wheel set up your going more for looks than handling. The springs...
Id start by checking the diff. Change the fluid and see if anything odd drains out. Like lots of sparkles in the fluid. Since you already had the wheel bearing checked and one changed you'd think that's not it. But I have a deep distrust of repair shops especially dealership ones. Does it...
I think the frequency you change you're oil is more important than what oil. Most modern oils and filters are pretty good these days. It's trying to push the change intervals that does the harm. I personally change mine every 5000 miles, or after a hard weekend on the track.
There's some "cool" features you can change with forscan too. Like having the fog light come on when turning. It only lights up the side that the blinker is blinking. Helps give you a little extra light in the direction you're turning.
Yep, still using mobil 1 filters and oil, 5w30. I also add a bottle of ceratec with every change to keep the ticks away. All that has been working great on the street, at autocross and on the track.
Yeah, they asked about what car I had and a couple other questions and that’s the last I’ve heard.
update… Steeda got ahold of me shortly after that last post. We discussed my issues and they sent me some parts that may be the problem. i havent had time to pull the shifter yet to try the new...
Hate to jump in on someone else's post but since this sounds similar to my problem and you're here...... I have a 2019 mustang gt PP2 and I installed the tri ax shifter. My problem is it being difficult to get into 1st, and it being very clunky when going into any gear. Is there an...
Oh I agree, but falken doesn't leave me any option. The 295/35 is an inch taller and will rub my fender, and the next option is a 275/35 and that's just smaller than I want to go. Once these tires are worn out I'll probably go with the continental since they have the sizes I need.
If I go with 11” wheels in the sve sp2 the offset is way to much. I’m not doing spacers. If I did it would rub the fender. The 305 on the 10” will rub my fender if I don’t have a god amount of camber. So far I have no unusual wear on my tires and it handles great so I’ll stick with this setup.
I’m currently running 305s on the same wheel and have no major issues. I think they roll more than they should but thats only during auto cross events with really hare turning. On the track they do great. So depending upon the tire brand (since all 295s arent the same width)and side wall height...
Offset is goin to be the biggest issue. Depending upon how wide your current rear wheels are the offset may be to much unless you add spacers and then you will need to watch out for fender rub.
For just a daily I would go with squared to prolong tire life due to rotating them. Even for track use squared gives you better tire life due to rotating tires. Although you can flip the tires on the wheel with staggered to prolong tire life. A lot will depend upon if the tires are directional.
Here’s a thought, since youll have two sets of wheels when you get the new ones, why not have a winter set of tires on the stock ones and some good summer tires on the new ones?
