I had this problem on my '17 after I installed my Boomba shifter. I had to pull up the rubber shifter boot to get it to fit and apparently when I put it back together I didn't get it in all the way so it would leak hot air from around the transmission into the console. I know mine is a 17 but...
Samsung Note 8. I'm tempted to get the Note 10+ but I think I'm going to wait for the 11 and see if they make any big changes. I'm not real happy that they got rid of the headphone jack. Yeah I know they have dongles.
When my original tires die I am planning on going to a 19x10" square set up and I think this thread has shown me what to get! I'm planning on 285's should I go with 30 or 35 ratio?
I like the shifter! But I think I either didn't get the rubber boot fully seated in the groove or it pulled out because now if I'm driving with the windows down and no HVAC on the center console gets super hot.
I figured it out! I used a couple flathead screwdrivers to pry under and lift out the boot. It was a pain in the butt. The bottom flange doesn't like to bend as easily as the top part. Then you have to trim a 1/4 to 1/2 off the top of the boot to get access to the top groove for the leather boot.
This is pretty much what I have decided to go with. 1-4 and the BMR rear shock mounts. I have the CB005 in the garage and am working on acquiring the rest.
I really appreciate all the advice and experience shared! Thank you!
Velgen wheels would be the cherry on top of my Mustang build sundae. The new suspension and grill area changes need an amazing set of wheels as the topper.
I'm glad to hear that you are still enjoying it. I had my Mustang in the shop to see if they would doing anything about the occasional nibble while shifting. Of course they couldn't recreate it...
