Yes GM does have valve spring trouble also. I was in GM dealer a while back where my brother works and he was replacing spring on a new GM truck. He said he replaced one at 120 miles and
was changing the second one at 185 miles.
I have for sale 2019 GT350. I bought it new out of dealer show room, just under 1 year ago. I've been the only one to drive it.
So I know it's never been abused, never raced or on a track. Always inside, never driven in rain. Very nice car like new, never
had or has any issues. Has 28xx miles...
I'm 15 minutes from Bristol Dragway, Tn. Although they don't race every weekend.
Kentucky Dragway in Clay City Ky still open. I raced there for about 25 years.
I know where the sheer load is, I've had several of these out.
Worked with trucks, loaders, dozers and on N&S railroad cars
for around 40 yrs. I know a little about pins and bolts breaking.
Yes it is far fetched, an airplane could crash on top of you when
jacking it up, but it's not happening...
NO way! You could say it's not a good idea for many reasons, it may damage
the cover, it may bend a bracket, it may damage bushing or whatever [ not that
I think it would ], but I could go with it. But to say jacking up rear of car would
bend or shear them 4 bolts, sorry I have to call foul...
