Varekai,
I guess I'm the 2nd one with the BBQ tick. I'll have to google around and see what info there is on it. Mine had it from day 1 (4 miles). Now almost at 11k miles and it is still there from time to time. Had the master tech listen to it with the "stethoscope" and he said the heads...
you should try and find a recent used SQ5. SQ5 to Q5 is like GT350 to GT :)
On the days I'm not driving the GT350, its either a 2012 Expedition if the weather is bad, or the wife's 2017 SQ5 when we decide to swap
11 months, 10400 miles. basically 11k miles/year. Drive it to work ~3 days/week (22 miles each way), plus a couple road trips, back road fun-drives etc :-)
Finally got my OBDLinkMX and the extended license for Forscan. Thanks to everyone's contributions, I added the R splash screen, the trans temp, and got rid of the dreaded double honk
Interestingly my car (tech pack) had the same as built value for the double horn honk as the 2017...
Guests drive the modified FRPP Mustang GTs on the track, while the owners drive the GT350s. On the first day you will be put in the same group. Check the website for pricing .
The 2nd day if you reserve early enough, they can also drive the FPRS Boss 302s - which is awesome and highly...
You should read the "Forscan tweaks" thread in the top section of the forum, and enable the transmission temp reading so that you can tell when you would need to turn the cooler on.
The pump that ford is recommending for the rest of us has a thermostatic switch, dont think it would be good to...
Two available in North Texas at MSRP
Posted these a few weeks back at 1k over... today they just let me know they are now willing to do MSRP. Let them know about the recall, and they are confirming the white one is affected or not.
one is a white/blue stripes, electronic pack with cover...
8400 miles since Feb. Drive it to work a few days per week only to keep the miles down :-). Also lots of back road driving a few road trips and on a couple tracks....Last oil chg was at 8300 (almost 8250);
For our group the west track on the 2nd day with the Boss 302 FRS so it's nice to see a comparison with the 350s on that course.
I think the instructors told us to keep it in 3rd the whole track primarily to keep less experienced folks (like myself) from getting in a situation we weren't ready...
My dealer in N Texas just called me - they have 2 2017 GT350s - they are willing to do 1k ADM
one is a white/blue stripes, electronic pack with cover
the other is a ruby red/blk stripes convenience pack with cover - believe this one is due at the end of the month
PM me for contact info...
@Zitro - man I hope it's not as bad as you are thinking. You may want to PM Hizlibullet, as I remember he appeared to go through something similar
@ Minn - thats about on par with mine (I'm at 7800 miles) There was a thread a few months back where it seemed there were quite a few folks with...
i have the shifter rattle also (built in Jan) - trying to decide if I want to have it replaced under warranty, or possibly the MGW shifter :-) Hoping to hear feedback from folks that the MGW does not have any of the rattling issues
Currently 7000 miles. Consumes about a qt every 1k miles. Broke in fairly hard but still within Ford guidelines. Possibly a correlation between this and the engine rattle (piston slap) as I can hear that even when warmed up. Would make sense....
