After my Switchbacks were on for about 10 minutes, they started the flashing cycle. Tried resetting the connector to no avail. Call Diode Dynamics and they said there was a problem with them overheating and a new upgrade was in the works. Received the new set today and so far no issues...
My switchbacks with 5000K HID's.
I noticed my switchbacks flash once in awhile when the engine is not running but are OK with the engine running. Will take them out and check the connection on them.
I got an Airaid Modular Intake Tube along with a K&N air filter. Overall, I am pleased with the setup. Seems like better throttle response and more air flow at WOT (sounds like it). Plus it was 1/2 the cost of a CAI. Now I am intrigued by the CAI from PMAS. Might have to try one to see how it...
I just received mu strut brace kit from Levittown Ford Super Center. Ford must have heard our complaints about packaging since mine was well padded. Hope to get it installed soon.
Satin Dark Silver stripes. Was not sure about adding stripes but glad I did. Adds character. Thanks Bigworm. Now I just need to add something to make me stealth to both radar and laser.
I got an Airaid Intake Tube from RDP Store (good price and great customer service). I did not notice much change when I installed the tube with the stock air filter. After I replaced the stock air filter with a K&N one, it seems like it got better performance and gas mileage. A little noisier...
Drove the car 1st with only the tube. Did not notice much difference. Put in the K&N for the drive home (150 miles each way) and the car seemed to respond better. Seemed a little noisier when I stomped on it since you could hear the air going through. Never ran it with only the K&N so not...
I installed a K&N air filter along with an Airaid Modular Intake Tube (from RDP Store). In my opinion, it gave me the performance of a CAI at 1/2 the cost.
I decided to get the Intake Tube since I did not want a full CAI (have a CAI in my Toyota Tundra) and I liked the features of it. Thanks RDP for the fast service in getting it to me. Straight forward installation. Worse part was getting the old one off. Caps are included to delete the Sound Tube...
I also ordered Satin Dark Silver (no pinstripes) for my DIB from Bigworm (just received confirmation email that it has been shipped). Was hoping to see pictures of this combination before I ordered but liked it the best. Hope to install it next weekend.
I just got some Race Ramps (56-2) from AutoAnything.com. Have a 20% discount (use code SPRING20) and a $20 rebate so it made it a little more reasonable. Probably worth it if the car does not get damaged or myself.
The latest episode of MotorWeek did a review of the GT at the track. They mentioned about the excess wheel hop. This should be a good way to eliminate it.
I just installed the pro-kit. Thanks to CJ Pony Parts for the installation video (also bought the springs from them). Took me 2 afternoons to install them. Would have gone faster if I had done it before, had help, and a lift. Overall, I am happy with them. After our long drive this...
I have a GT (non PP) and feels floaty to me going down the highway. Probably use to my stiff 4x4 suspension. Also, have some Eibach springs on my '90 Eclipse which have worked well over the years. I ordered an Eibach pro spring kit from CJ's since I had a promotion gift certificate from them...
I installed mine yesterday afternoon. Body is paying for it today since not used to crawling underneath a car. Only issue I had was I had to trim off another 1.25" from the pipes (from the original 4" from the resonator as shown in the instructions) since it was not centered on the hangers...
