  1. How do you stop mechanics from joyriding when your cars at the shop

I let the shop owner take my car to lunch or whatnot when they have it. Though, he tossed me his keys to take his truck to work when they have my car. I have a habit of always resetting the accelerometer after pulls so it's always low g's when given to them. He always makes a pull or two, but...
  2. An idea of how big our cars are.

That turn is called "the bitch". My profile pic is me in turn 1 clockwise.
  3. An idea of how big our cars are.

It's a fun tight technical track with some fun elevation!
  4. An idea of how big our cars are.

I would love to. The blower and 10 speed wouldn't like it. LOL I used to spend a LOT of time there on sport bikes. Back then Connie and Scott ran it, now I hear that Connie retired and Scott and his wife run it. That was one of my favorite things about Hallett was the family atmosphere!
  5. Bad storms this morning

It was through a broker. I'm switching broker as well. LOL
  6. Bad storms this morning

Yes, also for auto. Once this is all sorted out we are switching insurance with urgency! My car wasn't hurt but, the wife's car was. They are fighting totaling it out, yet are planning on replacing every panel on the car except for the driver's door.
  7. Boosted Mach 1 on E85; Forgot How Much E It Drinks!

My dad retired from the AF while stationed at Malstrom in Montana working as a crew chief of a KC-135. Was on Moon Island off of Oman during the first Gulf war.
  8. VMP Odin (boost issue?)

My ESS G2(small blower) on a 120mm pulley with low base timing for crappy 93 gas in the area trapped at 128mph. Something is way off!
  9. Don’t stop checking your oil.

Kids are definitely expensive! I've got 2 myself and like me their toys keep getting more and more expensive! Sports(multiple each) eat most of our time and discretionary spending!
  10. A little tanerite and 5.56 fun.

The result and standing up on the tanerite and my daughter on the gong
  11. Corvette ZR1 vs. Mustang GTD Track Battle

Watch it again. The GTD was on a track alignment and the ZR1 was on the stock street alignment. But, Yeah!
  12. Don’t stop checking your oil.

I've gotten lucky! I've only been a half quart low twice now between oil changes and both were before supercharging. Before boost I checked the oil every 2,500 miles and changed it every 5,000. Since boost I check the oil every 1,000-1,500 miles when checking the catch can and change it every...
  13. Supercharging fact and fiction help me clear up my worries

I don't notice the smell much. My daughter says that it smells like my parents lawn mower. LOL
  14. Corvette ZR1 vs. Mustang GTD Track Battle

The ZR1 was on a street alignment still and the GTD was on a track alignment.
  15. Corvette ZR1 vs. Mustang GTD Track Battle

The ZR1 was on stock street settings for the suspension as well, while the GTD was on a track alignment.
  16. Hood corrosion - am I on my own?

I'm hoping mine gets it so I can justify a Cervini to my wife! LOL
  17. Looking for a reputable tuner in Michigan

12:1 is normal Gen3 compression. I don't believe that any of the big tuners like Wengerd and a few others would have any problem tuning it. They can do remote dyno tuning as well if there is a dyno closer than Lidio. Either way, post up numbers when done!!
  18. Silver State Challenge...has anyone ever done this?

I'm gonna look into the Nebraska one more.
