It is getting absolutely absurd and Magnaflow seems to be one of the worst. I sometimes want to replace the stock axle back on my 16 for a bit more bark and a better tone, but for the asking prices it just isn’t worth it. Hell, the tune I got that was 100% worth it cost me less than a couple...
If you do, get yourself some of the little dash clips to replace because you will invariably break some when you pull the panel. I think you can get a big bag on Amazon for cheap. Color doesn’t matter
All I used was just regular old black Plasti Dip. I remove the panel, pulled out the center vents, cleaned thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol, and did a ton of coats. You have to make sure to get a thick coat at the edges to prevent it from wanting to peel up. Last coat I went over light with a...
You could try blacking out your dash trim. I used plasti dip so it is reversible. Lots and lots of coats on it and finished with a matte texture. It’s been over 9 months so far and looks new still.
S650 would certainly be on the list to potentially replace it. Maybe I’m a minority here but I like it.
That said I’d also be looking hard at B58 BMWs. I’ve had a couple BMWs in the past and really liked them.
2016 GT auto here. Bought it used in 2022 with 36k miles, now it’s at 63k. I drive it around town mostly but it gets occasional road trips and highway trips if the weather is nice. I’m a fairly spirited driver but not a maniac.
It’s had the 2018 manifold/2018 stock airbox for a while now along...
Is your socket all wallered out? Not sure what size it is but it’s gotta be something! Try an 8mm box wrench and see if it’ll grab.
I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a metric of some size but you might try a few SAE if nothing seems to fit.
Holy shit they really fired the parts cannon huh? All that exhaust work for what?
I’m leaning towards either a wiring issue due to rodent damage/corrosion possibly not near the VCT solenoids or something is up with a cam phaser. Check the ECU connection too.
In the process of plasti-dipping my dash trim. I’d actually already done this a week ago, but somehow a speck of some crap ended up in the dip so I’m going over it again. If it doesn’t hold up I’ll probably just get it painted flat black permanently.
