You could try blacking out your dash trim. I used plasti dip so it is reversible. Lots and lots of coats on it and finished with a matte texture. It’s been over 9 months so far and looks new still.

No, you’d need a custom tune. I believe the GT350 intake is bolt on without a tune required, just a throttle body adapter.

Is your socket all wallered out? Not sure what size it is but it’s gotta be something! Try an 8mm box wrench and see if it’ll grab. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a metric of some size but you might try a few SAE if nothing seems to fit.

The grounds they are referring to would be attached to the body, not the battery. That extra ground wire you added isn’t accomplishing anything.

Holy shit they really fired the parts cannon huh? All that exhaust work for what? I’m leaning towards either a wiring issue due to rodent damage/corrosion possibly not near the VCT solenoids or something is up with a cam phaser. Check the ECU connection too.

Plasti dipped dash finished. I think it came out pretty decent, we’ll see if it holds up

In the process of plasti-dipping my dash trim. I’d actually already done this a week ago, but somehow a speck of some crap ended up in the dip so I’m going over it again. If it doesn’t hold up I’ll probably just get it painted flat black permanently.

Try using a rod/long screwdriver to try and pinpoint the sound while a friend holds the rpms up. Be really careful around the front of the engine!

That is absolutely not spark knock/pinging you hear, that would show up under load on the road and not just revving the motor like that.
